10 reasons why I HATE the Twilight movie
After watching Twilight for, like, the 10th time I've decided that it really just pisses my off...
1. They do not capture the character personalities at all.
2. Edward seems soooo Akward when talking to Bella
3. The romantic scenes leaves something to be desired and the relationships between characters seem weak!
4. They skipped a lot of my fave scenes in the Novel (eg. the Blood Typing scene)
5. The scenes happen in the wrong order
6. The dialog between the characters and character actions are too different from that in the book.
8. I could have sworn 'Rosalie' stuck something edible in her mouth in one of the cafeteria scenes
9. Edward, in one scene, wears freaking SUNGLASSES to school -how whack is that?
10. It's too damn short and some of the cast cannot act to save their lives.
AND another thing: Is Jacob's hair really that long in the book?
Gosh that movie pisses me off! I hope New Moon will be a improvement -since they have Dakota to show them rookies how it's done!
But thee is one thing I like about it:
THE CULLEN BOYS ARE HOT!!!

i know what you mean i sometimes hate when they bring a book to life because of the fact that they cut so much out. ot save time and money. hell if you're going to do something do it right.

I agree. The movie could've been so much better. We were really looking forward to the "Blood Type" scene, too. The actors still are hot, and somewhat talented, too. It's just that Hollywood decided to destroy the story and just make it seem like a chick flick with vampires (and it's sooooo much more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Alrite here is my opininion about all of the points you have just made:
1. In what way do you think they did not capture their personalites?
*Bella falls, is clumsy, and falls in love with Edward. Bella fell like a whole bunch of times in the movies, and she falls madly deeply in love with edward.
* Edward is mysterious, handsome, keeps to himself and a vampire, they show all of that in the movie.
* Jacob is a quilette, he lives on the rez, he talks about his ancestors, not a big part in twilight book so of course not a big part in twilight movie.
* Charlie is quiet, a chief, and loves his daughter and looks out for her just like a father does they show that in the movie
* Alice is pixie like friendly funny and a little annoying like in the book they showed it in the movie as well.
* Jasper is a new to the whole part where they don't eat people and he does a great job in showing that because it seems like he is trying so hard not to kill bella, and he does it for Alice
* Rosalie is a meanie and speaks what's on her mind and is beautiful they showe that in the movie as well
* Emmet is this big jockie guy who cares for his family and he portrays that in the movie by being there for his family
* Carlisle is the protector and guide of the family they have respect for him and they portray that as well.
* Esme is the mother the love that keeps the family strong and she has motherly instincts and they portray that in the movie as well.
* OMG I could keep going on about this so I honestly disagree with you on that one for sure, maybe you should watch it 10 more times and you will see it.
2. Edward seems awkard when he is talking to bella because if you remember he is trying very hard not to smell her blood he is trying to understand why he can't read her mind, he is trying to not kill her and he is trying not fall in love with her.
3. The romantic scenes of course are going to leave something to be desired that's what the whole book is about duh! LMAO you make me laugh go back and read the books relationship between characters seem weak in what way ?
4. Of course they would not be able to fit all of our fave scenes in the movie, it was only 2 hrs long that's all they could do it for and they did not have much money to work with.
5. The Scenes had to happen in a wrong order because again they had to shorten the movie but that's not a big deal because they still get the point across.

8. yeah you are right about the cullens sticking stuff in their mouth while shooting if you look closely emmet eats a rice krispey as well they have to act human remember !

10. It is a short movie but again they had to make it like that, and all of these people are starting out they need more experience which is what they are getting its a hard movie to portray but they did an awesome job.
and Yes jacob's hair is that long GO READ THE BOOK AT LEAST 3 MORE TIMES AND TAKE NOTES!

Let me start off by saying I absolutely love love love the books! I didn't hate the movie......., don't misunderstand I like the movie very much,but I just felt that Kristen Stewart playing Bella was an awful choice. She doesn't capture Bella at all, shes too uptight in the movie. She never looks "Dazzeled" However, I do like Rob Pattinson playing Edward! =] I like the rest of the cast too. I do agree with some things that were mentioned. They should have stuck to the book more. The meadow scene in the movie should have been much more intense and intimate as it was in the book. All of the romantic scenes left something to be desired, though I did like that kissing scene in the bedroom=] The intensity of that one I was pleased with.

Well, about Jacob's hair, no it wasn't that long. It wasn't chin-length till the second or third book. ;3 yes the three actors who play the male cullens are very attractive. I also liked the seen where they drew blood in Bella's science class. They didn't really express the relationships between the characters, and they really don't label their personalities as well as they could've. (But I did enjoy the movie. ;3)
