fairies and vampires

vampire fairy twilight goth emo punk sk8er meeting place

After watching Twilight for, like, the 10th time I've decided that it really just pisses my off...

1. They do not capture the character personalities at all.
2. Edward seems soooo Akward when talking to Bella
3. The romantic scenes leaves something to be desired and the relationships between characters seem weak!
4. They skipped a lot of my fave scenes in the Novel (eg. the Blood Typing scene)
5. The scenes happen in the wrong order
6. The dialog between the characters and character actions are too different from that in the book.
8. I could have sworn 'Rosalie' stuck something edible in her mouth in one of the cafeteria scenes
9. Edward, in one scene, wears freaking SUNGLASSES to school -how whack is that?
10. It's too damn short and some of the cast cannot act to save their lives.

AND another thing: Is Jacob's hair really that long in the book?

Gosh that movie pisses me off! I hope New Moon will be a improvement -since they have Dakota to show them rookies how it's done!

But thee is one thing I like about it:
THE CULLEN BOYS ARE HOT!!!

Comment if you like -agree or disagree. Feel to add more good or bad points if you like, I'd love to hear the rest of the world's opinions.

True they are long (closer to three hours though) but bear in mind that the Harry Potter books are also much longer than the Twilight series.

Agree, It is to freaking short and Kristen doesn't even show any emotion, likes shes bipolar or something and he wears sunglasses?? OMIGOD! that is so cliche, and rosalie, omigosh she needs help if shes a VAMPIRE and eating HUMAN FOOD.

Twilight really isn't THAT long of a book, so the movie couldn't be THAT long of a movie, as for Kristen not showing emotion, umm doesn't Bella CLEARLY say at the beginning of the book "Neither of us is very good at showing emotions"? As for the sunglasses, the Cullens are supposed to be the epitome of Fashion, Sunglasses = Fashionable, further not many Humans have Golden colored eyes, I'd wear sunglasses too.

Rosalie eating 'human food', first off she's a newer actress, the way she read the script she probably assumed that she should pick apart her food and LOOK like she's eating it, just because she moves a piece of food to her mouth doesn't actually mean she put it in, and further aren't you all just nit picking now, she wasn't even the focus of that scene let alone a large part of the image, she was off in the corner.

LOL i so agree. I loved the books, and I was like, they should so make this into a movie...not realising they already had. But when I went t see it I was just 0_o
The books are so much better, just because they let you imagine it for yourself. :D

Hmm everyone seems to be saying that the books are way better then the movie so maybe making it into a movie was just 2 much of an intrepid move on the half of the writters huh?

It's a money thing, regardless of how bad the movie is it still made more money than it cost, thus it was a success, the mere fact that everyone is STILL talking about it MONTHS after it came it shows that it was a success.

I hated the movie when i first seen it, and now i refuse to watch it. You're so right. They did it practically nothing like the book.
And another point is that in the book when Bella is about to get hit by that car edward stops it then runs away before anyone sees him, and in the movie, he's still there! I was like are you frigin serious! And they didn't even use all the parts in the book. And also I heard that New Moon is going to have a twist and that it's going to be different then the book.
And I agree, Robert Pattinson can't act. Ugh, People should stick to the books. That movie was lame.

Well in the book Edward did a lot more than stop the car, he stopped it with his hands out also plowing Bella into the ground, he then also lifted the car up so it wouldn't crush her. And he didn't stop it and disappear a lot of people saw him there, hence the story about him 'pushing' her out of the way, what they did badly about that scene was the two large hand prints in the side of the door, the van should have been little more than scrap, which is why whatshisface (the driver in the van) got a new car.

And as I have said many times, in a book to movie transition A LOT of scenes are cut out, turning a novel into a movie page for page would make the movie unbearably long. I go to the movies to watch something for an hour or two I don't want to sit there ALL DAY.

And Robert Pattinson can act, that's why he's an actor, the talent of being an actor doesn't stem JUST from the ability to capture the essence of a character, it's also necessary to have self-confidence as your CONSTANTLY being watched by HUNDREDS of people and that's NOT including the extras everywhere.

Sure it wasn't the best movie ever, but it wasn't the worst either.

Actually once he get's the bed the room seems a lot smaller as the bed takes up the majority of the room. As for changing characters, why? A lot of the fans of the movie like Taylor Lawson (i think that was his name) if people sincerely didn't like him as a Jacob they would have changed him, even though changing characters from movie to movie ruins any immersion they were trying to develop.

FINALLY!!! someone I can agree with!!! everyone I've had to talk to about the movie say "It was amazing" and then I have to argue with them. I happy that I finally get to agree with someone ^w^
