I think you should turn him at 7. It gives him a bit to learn about vampires, and he will be old enough to understand he NEEDS to turn because his parents are vampires and it's just ok to be a vampire so, yea. Turn him at 7. Although I got turned at 12 by some creepy guys who were stalking me ever since I was 6. I think they were planning it until I could be alone with boys and not have my mother worry what I was doing. So from 7-12 turn him. Any older and he'll think you just don't want him to be a vampire and he'll feel left out and sad.

7?

12?

There is no way he's going to be mature enough to understand the commitment and responsibilities of Vampirism at those ages!

Give him a good 15 to 20 years.

Preferably 20, let him get through puberty first, otherwise there's no way you'll be able to keep him in line.

Hah. Wrong.

My friends kid was turned at 10. And she's perfectly in line. (She is now 12 almost 13)
Hah. Epic wrong. (I couldn't say "Epic fail" because you didn't fail at anything exept get it wrong. :P)

At 13 they have yet to hit puberty.

And still as far as I care that is blatant abuse.

No child should have to go decide whether to forsake their humanity before they have had a fair time to experience it.

There already a disgusting amount of things in the world that slaughter the childhoods of innocent children.

The rigours and burdens of Vampirism should not be added to them.

Twenty years is nothing in the grader scheme of things.
Let your child know what it is he's choosing to give up before he gives it up.

i agree with that last line.

dont turn them while they're children. wait until they are old enough to understand what it is that they are getting themselves into.
18 sounds like a good age for this - even older than that.
give them enough time to form a decision as well, don't rush their decision or put pressure on them. support them no matter what.

hope i helped.

at least let him get to middle school. that gives him time to decide who he is and what he wants. Honestly most kids don't know who they are at all. They think they do. When my friends and me hit 5th we realized we didn't know anything and at 6th most of us found out who we are. I know it sounds crappy but 6th grade broke through to a lot of us. If you don't know who you are then how can anybody else?

He does need time to understand the gist of why you're turning him, but if you wait too long, when he's older, he might rebel. I was turned at a very young age, and I guess I turned out....somewhat norm. Though, I think waiting until he's older would be better, I regret being turned at such a young age.

I believe the child should be given the choice. In any case he needs to be old enough to be able to survive in the human world without being looked down upon. I say at least 21.

you are not allowed to turn a 2 month old child to a vampire!
the age limit is around 15.
You know, since your child is not born as a vampire, (I would guess that the parents are just half blooded vampires)
Your child will remain the look and bodytype, as long as he live.. DO YOU SRSLY WANT THAT FOR YOUR 2m old???

my advice would be to wait til he's older

dont turn him now

its hard enough raising a baby

you dont want to have to worry about him mindlessly attacking people
