Any Half-Vampires out there? What's Ur Story?

im a half-vampire. My human parents dumped me on a random doorstep once they found out what I was. Im living with these really nice people, who didnt turn their back on me once they found out

Concerning ' half- vampires ' , over time the vampire blood would take over ( consume ) their body and they would become full vampires , and would probably lose a lot of sanity....that or they would die. That is the farthest I can go concerning ' half- vampires ' .
Now,a real half-vampire ( so to speak , of course ) would be a reincarnation.A vampire soul in a human body.If you have cravings for lets say blood, those cravings are phantom cravings and they are cause by the soul.They are just in your heads. ( thought , they are half- vampires in a way.A vampire soul and a human body...half - half see he he lol )
You are either a reincarnation or a role player....or insane.

i agree with Antonio here :)
you cant exactly have the 2 species in one body. they wouldnt be able to coexist harmoniously. the vampire half would dominate the human half making a full vampire, *if* the person survived. im sure that "half vampires" have been born but i dont think we know what the outcome is, and i've heard many say that they simply do not make it. they die while the 2 species fight within the body for dominance.

At the moment of a 'created' vampire, the moment that the vampire blood takes over the created vampire, in theory,(if the transfusion works), then the current state of transformation is actually 'half-vampire' because both are coexisting, but the vampire blood is devouring the cells and tissue.

Indeed, Their life span is very short.
However, their psychic ability is more emense than a full fledge vampire.

thank you for that Dark Ripple. so essentially, does that mean then, that during "awakening" or "the change" you're technically "half-vampire" but then when its finished you would be considered "full vampire"?

That is not true.In a child there are the BEST genes from BOTH parents.You get genes from both parents equally.You are not born on your fathers side, one is born to their parents side.Both of them.

That's not true. I am studying genetics, and to break it down on a basic level, there is no such thing as the 'best' genes. The genes actually slowly alter to fixate what is needed. For example, if you lived in a dry desert area and you're father had black skin, and your mother had white skin, you'd adopt your father's skin. But the body is not always like so and you usually do not receive the best genes.
