I don't want to be offensive, but none of you have hit the reason I want to be a vampire. Eternity, you don't realize how lucky you are to be a vampire! It's what you are! And my name- it symbolizes what I am! I am a human, and I enjoy the taste of human blood, so whenever I'm bleeding I suck it until it stops, and I bite people when I get angry at them, or they take something of mine, I believe that God put me in the wrong body when he decided what child to put my soul into. Being a human.... its being a seal living among polar bears. Strange and confusing.... Every night, I pray to god to help me find where I belong, and every day is a new dissapointment. I always try to keep myself busy in hopes of me forgetting that I don't belong, but it rarely works... so I've given up not hope, but waiting. I know that God will show me where I belong in time, so I will wait patiently. I will NEVER give up hope.

I would love to be a vampire becasue i can forget all of my worries in the real world and fly into the night freely without a care.

I think all through history there has always been a fascination with vampires. Some for immortality, some for eternal love and others for the mystery of the unknown. Anyway you look at it, it can be good and bad both. If you are immortal and you find eternal love, do you fade away or lose your zest for eternity when your mate dies? I think that those vampires that have a true connection with the night and feel more at home in it make the best vampires. Also those that can adapt well with change in home, time and world settings will survive the longest.

why in the hell do you need to suck a person dry?to become a vampire it's has his gifts let's say...but also you have a lot to loose on this eternal thing,it's not good to want to be a vampire if you don't like to be alone,cuz if you make friends and you have to hide this secret to them,you can't keep them for long and so on ...but i would like to became a vampire to see what happens with humanity for let's say a 100 years from now....and let's face it who doesn't what to have a friend who is a misterios,imortal and with supernatural abilities?heck i would love to have only vampires friends,but i'm not that lucky...

It seems really cool to be a vampire to me. To 'live' forever is just something what you get when you will become a vampire. That is the only thing that may bother me. Maybe 'life' will become very boring after threehundred years or something. But if I would be able to become a vampire some way, I would do it, even if I have to 'live' forever then. To become a vampire and live that kind a life would be a great challange.

I'd give up the immortality in a second. Think about it, if you really thought that you couldn't bear to live a moment longer, there would be no way out. You'd be stuck, just existing forever in an agony of endless torment with no hope of the release granted by death.

I think that immortality would be pointless unless you planned on doing something for the greater good or if you found something more important than yourself to live for. Life is short, but not that short. If the only reason for becoming a vampire is so that you could escape death, then it would only cause you greater pain when all around could not escape death. I think death is more of a journey than a destination and that you should welcome it when its time instead of shying away from it.
And no, I am not telling you to kill yourself. I'm just saying that hiding from it is immature in my opinion.
