'About Me' annoyance

So... Spook is being silly and ranting about something that doesn't matter. Yes, I know it doesn't matter and I shouldn't care. This is more out of boredom than the fact it bothers me.

I've been rummaging around, looking at people's profiles (did I mention I was bored?). I've come to find something a bit annoying. Most people have put little to nothing in the "About Me" section on their profile. What is the point of having a profile if you aren't going to tell us a little about yourself?

Saying "Ask me and I'll tell you" is rather silly because you were just asked to tell about yourself! Saying you are what you are is idiotic, everyone is who they are. That is a given. What I want to know is just a little about you so I'm here to help you all put something in your profile!

I know there are a lot of you that don't want to give that much about themselves out, it is the internet and I can't blame you, so pick and chose from these questions and just put something in about yourself even if you tell us what color aquarium rock you'd prefer in a fish tank!

1. i go by sarah...but i would love to know what my name used to be...the only name i can remember is "Red" and im assuming thats a nickname based on my colour...

4. I wanted to join because i thought the people here could help me figure out who and what i am...and they did :D
5. i have a high school diploma for now. getting ready for university hopefully this winter...for science...
6. in my free time i sing, A LOT....and i watch a lot of movies, i like to read, shop...dance, laugh...have pajama days with my best friend...lol.
7. I dont have 1 favourite colour, i like black, red, blue, and green...
8. im usually on the net a few times a day...except in the summer i turn the computer off a lot because it gets too hot in my room...
9. my favourite sites, hmm, this one, facebook, above top secret...
10. i have a 4 year old boxer...shes the sweetest dog in the whole world...and shes so smart...shes brindle with a white chest, white paws and a white blaze on her forehead thats not quite in the middle, its off to one side...lol.
11. i have a few goals. im planning to record a demo in the fall/winter, so maybe the music business...God knows im weird enough to attract attention and controversy alike. i also want to get my degree in biology, and then maybe get into either zoology or marine biology. I really want to be a cryptozoologist...which is someone who studies creatures whos existence hasnt been proven. i want to do it from a highly educated scientific standpoint...and of course i like to write, so perhaps a novel in there somewhere too...:D; ▶ Reply to This
