Remarkable insight. I'm very impressed. I never stated that Baphomet was seen as the father by Wiccans though. If any holds that title it would be Cernunnos and / or Herne. The sabbatic goat is generally accepted to relate to Baphomet and indeed the the freemasons worship him stoically. He is much older than that though as he is thought to be the first of the old gods though his remarkable ability in maintaining his silence is legendary amongst those who know him. This is why he's also known as the 'Forgotten God'.

Good Question, by the way.

there are christian witches... i'm even one of them.. yeah, i heard that doing witchcraft is a sin for christians.. but are all christians perfect?.. no.. each one of us does a sin.. and witchcraft is my sin.. if it really is.. cause i'm starting to doubt the christian belief..

Aren't Christians supposed to try their hardest NOT to sin, though?
Let's say I was a Christian. And, because every Christian sins, I decided mine would be murder. So I went and murdered everyone I felt like murdering, because that's my sin.
I don't think the Christian God, or any God for that matter, would be too happy about that.

lol. Christianity it not about trying to follow the commandments. If Christians practice what they profess, They are supposed to be forgiven and redeemed. Their following the tenets of their faith is supposed to be more natural for them to follow within their mortal and fallible understanding because their souls are cleansed when they accept the blood of Jesus over their lives. God is their father too, you see, so they should listen to daddy. For them it is a mater of spiritual life and death that they do so. Too bad most of them don't. It's not a matter of picking and choosing what to follow.

*sigh* now look at that institution of white sepulchered religion and think about how many Christians are going to get a rude shock when it come *time*. see what the institutions of greed, power and social structure have done to the plan? it's really sad. Sick actually. but it's just like how the Jews were warned that if they depart from the plan, a mockery will be made of them. the exact same principle.

now think about witchcraft, the use of which, for a person that claims that they are Christian, essentially calls God a liar to his face if such a "Christian" practices it.

humans depress me *sigh*

Here's a question why did the Jehovahs and nephilim conduct a nuclear war on the Elohim 12000 years ago in the city of Babylon then? It did happen and proof has been found of both the existence of Babylon and of radioactive isotopes of the type found post nuclear strike at the site.

To clarify things here a bit. A real and true witch reveres both the Goddess and the Horned God, who by the way in no way relates to Satan. Wicca, paganism and witchcraft came into being with the earliest of our ancestors. Watching the years pass and noticing similarities in the different seasons, watching the night skies and noticing how the bright lights followed patterns, the waxing and waning of the moon and its correlation with other natural phenomena led them to believe there was more to life than that which they could see. The vicariousness of nature which was a lot worse than it is now also gave rise to myths and legends amongst them about how the earth came to be. As time went on the more spiritually aware amongst them began to try and work with all these events and get a greater understanding of them Thus was born the first shaman. From there witchcraft developed into a more ritual based early form of religion and knowledge grew into psychic awareness. It also developed the earliest forms of medicine of which much is still used today. Bear in mind this all happened from around the neolithic times which predates christianity by tens of thousands of years. Christianity has been around how long? Plus don't forget that modern christianity owes Wicca one very large and seriously heartfelt apology for all of the witches and innocents it tortured, raped, maimed, killed and burned during the 13th to 15th centuries. If your christian god demands I do things like that then I say up yours matey I'm human and natural and I will NOT hurt my fellow man!!! Christianity has so much to answer for in terms of human suffering yet they pretend to be all loving and all caring towards humanity while secretly working to control and use it for their own ends. They even believe their own lies which to me smacks of utter stupidity and lack of even a basic awareness of what is right and wrong and what is proper conduct in this world and that's why most british witches call it the church of madness.

And if this post offends any christian who reads it. Guess what? I don't give a monkeys!!! The truth always hurts doesn't it?

This is just going to be a never-ending debate...
OK, you can "claim", or say, that you're both, but, officially, traditionally, and correctly, you cannot be both. If you're a Wiccan, or a Witch, in ANY way, then you're taught miles away from the things Christians are taught. And it's the SAME story for Christians. Christians are even taught that being a Witch is deplorable, intolerable, extremely sinful, and the list goes on. So, there is no party that lies between the two religions. If you claim to be both, then you will never be accepted by either, officially. So, the answer is "no".
Again, to clarify, if you say you're a Christian, and you're a Witch, or a practitioner of Witchcraft, or any form of Paganism, then you're false. And you'll be told you're going to Hell, because you're claiming to be something that is renounced as HOLY, (Christian), but you're tainting it with "evils" such as Wicca, or Paganism. Basically, all you can do is "say" you're both, but you really are neither if you claim this. Simple, and Clean. It's really not so hard to find the simplicity in the topic. Both Christians and Witches teach opposite of each other, so to claim to be both is truly false, contrary, and you're misinterpreting what you've been taught, as either a Christian, or Pagan.

And if you find a church or coven that will take you in while you're still claiming to be both, let me know. I'm quite certain that none will.

Anyone saying they are a christian witch clearly has no understanding of the Wiccan tenets or rede. Wicca does not believe in one goddess or god but a multitude of them each an aspect covering a particular area of life. There is no heaven or hell and there is no good or evil. There is only right action and wrong action incurring the debt of Dharma and Karma. Thus there is no one on whos behalf to fight and thus no wars ensue. Unlike the christian crusades currently underway in afghanistan and iraq.Christainity and Wicca are, always have been and always will be diametrically opposed due to their individual central beliefs. This is where the lie is really shown. How can anyone say they believe in the one god who rules us all and rewards us according to how well we obey AND say they believe in a god and goddess who puts responsibility for their lives in their own hands? Doesn't make sense

scuse me. . .ehrm. I have agreed on this point up until you described the current conflicts as a christian crusade.

the wars currently in effect in the middle east have absolutely nothing to do with christianity. it has been about greed on all sides, intolerance on all sides. The legions of non-christians on both sides of the conflict, i think, would take incredible offense to you thinking so. Be careful how you ascribe any one conflict as any one religious group, especially in this day and age.

Even in the old crusades the prospect of being on them was less of a spread of christianity and more of an excuse to 1)subjugate the world under European culture 2)to provide an outlet for european lords to whet their appetite for blood without risking their own populace 3)to procure more wealth and land

christianity in the middle ages was little more than a trumped up overcourt that attempted to direct the minds of the continent's rulers under the guise of "religion" it is the church of mammon, during that time. it was a keystone of european civilization, a check and balance that kept the nobles form declaring themselves gods and provided comfort to the downtrodden masses, even as it limited their education.

this current conflict is devoid of even the veneer of "christianity" even though certain peopel would like to pin that to it.

ascribing the atrocities to God's will is as incredibly narrow viewpoint, historically.
