Can u change humans into vamps.???

Ok so this is more 4 a vamp. 2 answer bt if u think u know plz share.....so can a vamp. change a human into a vamp. by biteing them or is there more 2 it then just biteing.....or do u just have 2 be born a vamp.???? it's all verry confusing.
