Candle Magic
Candle Rituals have been around for centuries. You may remember your first candle ritual when you were 2 years old on your birthday. The candles were lit and you were told to close your eyes, make a wish and blow out the candles. Candle spells are pretty much the same principle. You light the candles, maybe close your eyes while repeating a spell or that which you wish for and visualizing it coming true. It is a combination of the need or desire, and the ability to visualize the outcome. Candle burning spells and rituals are very easy to do and to have success with if they are done correctly and you truly believe. The different colors of candles each have their own symbolism. Here is a table of the colors and their meanings...
White: truth, purity
Red: love, health, sex, strength
Green: money, luck, fertility
Black: discord, evil, negativity, confusion
Brown: neutrality, uncertainty, hesitation
Pink: love, morality, honour
Purple: power, business progress, ambition
Orange: attraction, stimulation
Greenish Yellow: jealousy, anger, discord
Gray: neutrality, stalemate, negativity
Light Blue: tranquility, patience, health
Dark Blue: depression, changeability
Candle spells can be very easy or complicated. It all depends on how much time you want to put into a ritual. It can be as simple as lighting a green candle and chanting... money money come to me.
It can also be very long and complicated lasting several days with the repositioning of the candles each day. The choice is always yours.
The first thing you want to do is get the appropriate color candles for your peticular desire. Then you need to annoint the candle with oil. Olive oil will do fine. You need to rub the candle with the oil from the middle outward to the ends. As you are doing this you need to be thinking of your desired goal. Then sit and meditate on your desire after lighting the candles, then read your spell or chant your appropriate mantra.You don't need some elaborate spell with a bunch of big words or words you don't even know how to pronounce. You can make your own spells or rituals. Think of your desire then make a simple little rhyme that tells about your desire in it. It doesn't even have to rhyme. This is all about will power, the power of positive thinking, and creative visualization.
If you can do these things then you will send those vibrations out into the universe and eventualy they will materialize.

great post Gabo :D candles are pretty much the only tool/supply i actually use. candles help with focusing energy...a lot of times i light one brand new, recite my spell, pour my energy into the spell. and when the candle goes out...it is done. the process can take hours...i feed the spell the whole time the candle burns...then when its done burning the spell is complete.

The basics are there but I have to disagree with some of it. For a start when you rub the candle, you rub from top to bottom to rid or banish and from bottom to top to attract. I.E. you pull what you want to the flame of life and push away what you want shot of. Also of concern here is the direction in which you'd turn the candle. Deosil for gain, tuathal for removal.
In the Correspondences you mention black as relating to evil. As Wicca and witchcraft do not recognise evil this cannot be. Black is for banishing and protection.
Yellow is for Joy, vitality, Intelligence,Study, Persuasion,Charm, Creativity,Communication, Mind power, Psychic ability, Attraction, Examinations and Tests.
Green is for Abundance, Growth, healing, prosperity, fertility, employment, luck, jealousy, personal appearance, neutralisation of difficult situations, calming, finances, security and career.
The things you list for greenish yellow to my mind would come under black as surely you would only want to banish such things would you not?
Olive oil, whilst having certain energies, is not one I'd use either. Rather I'd find out which herbs have energies that relate to the spell I am crafting and would use, at the very least three or more empowered oils created from them. Each thing on this planet, with the exception of chemically created matter I.E. plastics, has a unique vibration. Align several together by your act of respectful will and it further empowers you.
Rhyme in spell-craft is important too. The more thought you put into choosing the right words the greater the power as you are more concentrated on the outcome. Witchcraft is just that. A craft!!! it's more than a skill and to master it fully can take years of training. When I cast a spell I will ask anything up to several dozen different vibrational beings ( herbs, crystals, runes, tarot vibrations, trees et al ) to aid me and usually they will help because I ask with respect. When I first started I tried to command and soon learned that all I got was laughed at. Yep even flowers have a sense of humor ;)

i remember when i broke up my guy friend using a candle and i had to tie knots on a candle(forgot which color, since i only wanted to use this once)and picture them growing far apart, because she was a golddigger and only wanted money out of him.

can i perform candle magic to get rid of the sprits living in my firends home, i do believe its a poltergeist tho for it thows things.
