Do you think your emo? Well, my friends think I am emo, but I try not to act like an emo, but still they think I look and act all emo!!!

Most people now when they thibnk of the sub culture Emo they think of people who self harm. Truth is that anyone can sefl harm and it doesnt make them Emo. Anyone can be depressed but it doesnt make them Emo. Emo IS short for emotional, but means that they express their emotions through other things like music, clothing, poetry...
It has just about lost its meaning because there are too many people getting stereotyped as Emo because they are depressed or self harm. Also now a lot of people who claim to be Emo start to self harm because they believe that is what Emo's do. So they only do what they believe they should be doing.; ▶ Reply to This
