yes. the human body is just a shell. the soul will take any body really. i remember being in my dragon form. my scales were brilliant reds and deep but bright yellows, like the colour amber...i had big wings, that i still can feel in a "phantom" sense. they curl right around me...and the claws and talons, i can feel that every now and then too...the tail...but especially this sense of fire deep inside me. Dragons are old ones. we're from another realm of existence, i dont know how it feels for others, but "earth" the way humans live it...has never really felt like home to me. im at home in my dreams. I think that regardless of age a dragon can have a temper. i've been around a long time...and my temper is...dangerous. my guide, or keeper as some call them...is a black dragon. and i do agree with Daniel in that the black dragons are keepers of power. there arent many left...mine is very very old. hes stubborn as hell. dragons tend to like puzzles...or thats how i am and how my guide is. and i've heard of other dragons liking puzzles and riddles as well. Im fiercely protective. Some dragons have treasure that they obsess about. my treasure is my family and friends. i will kill for them. and do. My mood swings are ridiculous. I also currently have a personality disorder. i've stabilized a great deal since figuring out what i am...and recalling my past. im doing quite a bit better actually. Im wise at times, but other times my emotions overshadow any shred of rationality in me...Reds are hardest to kill because we're relentless, ruthless, cold angry beasty things...lol. im not like that all the time though...dragons for the most part are wise and fun and caring...we help when we can and we will bring justice to someone who needs it. we are the physical embodiment of magic...we understand balance, and patience...

I believe that I am a red. I, too, have the phantom sense of wings.. I never understood it until now. And.. although I don't see mood swings in myself.. I've been diagnosed with BiPolar, so I guess everyone else sees them.. lol. When you said dragons are Old Ones... what do you mean? Like.. Mich'ael?

Lol, let's not bring him into this. :) We need to stop relying so much on him, there are people on this site that know more than him, believe me.

Anyways, you could be a red, but that is probably for YOU to figure out. I think that some deep meditation could really work on that... I think that you will figure out things in time, :)


and an OLD one is commonly refered to as being an OLD soul, that they have seen things. Like angels and dragons, they are here to guide, and help. They are the ones that have the mission here to do certain things,and to inspire certain events to happen, not to say that everyone does not have a purpose, it just shows that we remember more of our lives that most do, for a reason.Angels and Dragons, like I said, keep the balance of this world in check, the have to.. that is why the yare so in touch with their power, rather than most that have to really work at their energy.

I was only using Mich'ael as an example, seeing as how I couldn't think of another Old One that I knew of.

I am definitely an old soul.. in numbers, I cannot express how old.. not beginning-of-time old, but considerably old.

I am definitely a red, but I have also heard of dragons with multiple elements.. what is your opinion on that?

Elements are able to be controlled by all dragons. If they have control over one element, it means that they have been able to control their energy, and they have learned more about that element. They will always have one element that they are best at.. everyone does that can control an element.

I am not a dragon, but I can control fire and Air.. but I am better with air. Dragons are not an exception to this. A red dragon might be able to control water, or Air.. or every element, but they will be able to control fire better.. and if they can not control fire, they will be able to.. they are always able to master their element that they are "born" or "created" from.

Memories... mostly. I don't have a lot else to really go on. I've talked to other dragons, but at the same time.. I really don't have that much to go on, besides that.

Well... I myself am a Dragon (well.. Dragoness) and with i agree (AND disgree) a lot said. my life has MANY years ago converged with my realization of things... Ebcuase i perceives things one way, does not mean another will too. we can be both perfectly right, and yet both perfectly wrong, about a single same subject. With that said, i can input what i know of my own race, and our Cousin Race, both Dragons.

I do not as of yet know the actual name of my race. to do not pretend to be able to translate the langauges easily enough to "say" i can get it corrrect. so i use the comman names of the planet's to name them in Common Speach. I had rescently come into knowledge of my past, that i was not of the Draconic race i lived with my full life. Those dragons are named for the planet, for simplicity- the Dragons of R'Thak (or R'Thakians), but i come from a close planet, to which i do not yet know the name. (hey... being kitnapped after birth only long enough to hear you be named will make you forget a bunch! :) )

On R'Thak, the dragons are mainly "ruled" by full genetic familys of Queens. a QUeen is not given a title, nor can take one, nore can you be born from a Queen and be called one too. it's a genetic thing on the planet. Either way a large note to the colors are that there quite a few Queen Clans that rule over different areas... each Clan is of a sinlge major job type. the Greens are of Lorekeepers. Blacks of Smithing heavy metals, Blues are Keepers fo Magical Powres as a whole. the list can go on a short way- the key note being.... my family has NEVER changed Job Classes... nor as the Blacks, White's, Blue's, Brown's, etc. and yet.... the Lorekeeper's used to be called the Gold Clan. since the Green's have descended from them. infact i have a Draconic friend that is a good friend of mine, living rigth downt he road- he was the classed as the only child and first born son of of the Last Queen of the Golds, as they became Greens in totality.

further more, the Dragons of R'Thak, are both null in magic, and voerly useful at it... color or not, each dragon's own personality dictates his or her aptitude of of magical capapbility, or Element, or even class of Power outside normal "restrictions" on Magic itself. but either way, most with out magic are extremely high levels of various Martial Arts. we are passive to an extreme... our society for us has been more of less perfected in our own eyes, even if we do realize to other it may not be. the whole idea of our planet is based on the care and love of our children, nothing more. as to that- we have much become a phrase to the galaxy "the Cockroaches" (for translation- aka "those that just WONT die!!!")

mind you... i'm still fresh in my own limited knowledges of my own race. the common name given to them from a Earth aspect would be the "Fairy Dragons" (most people lump too much together.... we are Fairy Dragons... and yet nothing like OTHER Fairy Dragons, oy!) but i know we are VERY few... and CLOSELY related to the R'thakians, as we are both a converged direct decendant of two different draconic-like specie of creature. the differences being, the R'Thakians gained our body type as a secondary form to their own... we gained their general apitute for magical things. both have made "exchnages" like this in genes... those two are the more major ones... but more over.. we both have contiuned to add our own experienced to the mixes... such as the R'thakians gaining a large amount of anti-shapeshifting powers from after some work, we gained a much larger aptitude of magical control from it. (however my own control is still weak and limited... self taught from memory, and a mear 24 earth years old.... equating to a rough ~6.5 days old in a human lifetime-span)

to me, still, dragon or no dragon, fairy or not. your control over what you can do and how you do it, it still dicated by your core personality and likes/dislikes. i'm a user of Air Elemental powers.... i'm also the only Green Queen that knows much at all of the Air (or can handle my Martial Arts well enough to manifest more then the simple Style Movements in this own Realm- but an inkling of it's non-magical quazi-powers, too.)

Lol it's kinda hard to come up with random facts off the top of your head.. :) and it is kinda hard to think about what would be important. That varies with each person lol
