I'm just wondereing if any people have ever been judged by their appearence. They say a first impression is everything to the person looking at you, but what if they are not looking properly? I'd love to hear your stories!
How do you act like a christian? Most christians don't act christian lol you should check out one of Haunted's forums about the signs of being unchristian. =]
Well Christians are not obliged to dissapprove of anything that is not in the norm, being open minded and accepting people for who they are should be christian way. I could be wrong and please do tell me so I can learn something new as I myself am not christian.
Nah, most of the time people think exactly what I want them to think about me, mostly because I'm a good liar. Hmmm....Sometimes, though, I am mistaken for an emo, which is very insulting.
I am the same I have to admit, I too have been taken for an emo which to me nothing is insulting in that way but I do not like being mistaken for something I'm not.
A lot of people don't bother to look beyond what they first see.
When I was... a sophomore in high school.. I wore a lot of black. I wasn't goth or anything... I just liked to wear it.
One day I had on some Tripp pants... (for those of you that don't know what those are... lets just say they are long, baggy and has lots of chains... ^////^;) I went to my classes like usual, but about 3rd hour I got called to the office. Now I might be a bit strange but I was a good student, so I thought something was wrong.
I go into the principles office and he sits me down. He then asks me why I did it, by this time I was confused and wondering what the heck he had been talking about. I asked him and he told me that my last hour teacher HAD seen me through a cig behind her desk. (I don't even smoke) I sat in his office for over 30 minutes trying to convince them that not only did I not do it, but that I didn't even smoke. After they sent me back to class I was called back about 5 to 10 minutes later. Only this time the counselor SMELLED ME. They were trying to see it I smelled like cigs. After she was... satisfied and connived that I didn't smoke they let me go again.
I later foudn out that she had just found the cig behind her desk and thought it was me back of the way I dressed...
That is so typical, people making judgements, I would have refused to return to the school without an apology from the teacher and the principal. Why would a councellor smell you? Even if you did smoke it is none of their business and you could have easily been with people who do smoke. I thought my school was bad lol
