That's why you don't trust wikipedia xD.
People put ANYTHING and everything on there. I can go on there and put that the world has been taken over by aliens, on some info on..cats, and I will bet you anything that it ends up on a HS Report.. LMAO!!

Er, Fairies and Angels, they are kinda linked in a few ways, but barely. Most Fey, they tend to be Nature/Element Based. While Angels pretty much guard this earth, and angels have a lot more power than the fey do. All In all, Fairies are barely anything like angels.

Some speculate that angels are fairies mentioned in the bible, but Legends of angels have been around longer than the fairy, BUT of course.. those could be legends of fairies themselves. You never know, or the fairy could be legends of the angels *just throwing some things out there*
Since the Nymphs were created by Zeus, and angels were created by god, there could be some connection there, in some way :) Lmao, I'm just throwing possibilities out there now.

To be honest, I think Fairies and Angels are 2 seperate,but important, beings.

Fairies keep the nature/Elemental earth in check, and angels keep the earth..well from being blown to bits :), LMAO. So both hold an important task.

Oh and why some fairies hold angelic faces? It's just the way that the soul is merged with the body. The fey tend to look either A) Childlike B) BEAUTIFUL.. they have to be alluring.. they love to manipulate. it's their past time lmao c) Ugly.. I've met some ugly fairies before, though.. they tend to be very... well... evil. D) They look human. Some of the fairies like to hide theirselves, and actually let the human traits take over. Though this is rare, the fey can be very.. private.


I'm not the BEST with the fey info, if you want to go find out about fey, there are some groups here. Like world of the fairies or something like that, and the featured group on fairies *if it is still featured here anymore, I haven't looked in so long it's sad. :(*
Those people should be able to answer your questions.
Because, to be honest, I don't really know. Those are just my own opinions.

But believe what you want, your opinion is ultimately your own, and it comes down to what YOU want to believe.

No we're not really..... But once fairies get to a certain point they can actually turn into angels but that's only certain ones. A lot of fairies I know are sort of goth and have no association with angels.
