favorite names

what are your favorite names for any of the various supernatural people (beings, whatever).
for example: I like Alexia as a name for a vampire. maybe a witch.
Lionel's a good name for a lycan I think.
etc...etc...etc....
I'd LOVE to hear your ideas! Bring em on!

It's a younger-sounding name, so i'm going to give it to either a teen witch, an even younger witch, or a fae (i think Rin is less gender-specific when we're talking about faeries) Rin is probably going to be the name of my main character in this book series. Thanks so much! : ) if my books are ever really published, i'll dedicate the first book to you ( :

Permalink Reply by Sterling on April 11, 2009 at 9:25am: "Mia" was one of my first ideas. I kept putting it on the back burner, but it came back to me again and again and again. Maybe i was trying to fight destiny. I had similar situations with the names "Fiona" and "Gregor" as well.
I've been thinking about a new character; a beautiful, olive-skinned, greek, female vampire (teenager or twenties)
Id prefer Greek-sounding names. I'm quite fond of naming her "Alexia".
