i'd also like to say that i wrote this in october...i've learned a few more things since then. my opinion has changed slightly on the topic, but not too much.

True has actually helped a lot by giving her explanations too. she has different classifications of vampires and has a good way of explaining it. she says that there are "true vampires" which are not physiologically like humans. these are the type that are physically a vampire and they are closest to the fictional type. ie, they have fangs, they're either immortal or they just live for a long long long time, they drink blood. some of them are born that way, the Purebloods. and others are made into vampires but were once human. those are Revenants.

then there are what she calls "neo vampires" and this type are in human bodies. they resonate with vampires, maybe because they were one in a past life, or they just really connect with the species. but they are physically a human and not physically a vampire. the types that fit under the neo-vamp category are the psy vampires, and the sanguinarians, people that have human bodies but feel they are vampires.

and its ok, just maybe keep in mind for the future that "poser" is a strong word around here lol. people who arent posing tend to get a little offended by being called that. this is sort of the one place i dont have to pretend i dont have to "act human" here...i can be myself and no one really cares because they know what its like. i have a human body...albeit an above average one. meaning that i have really really good senses, the 5 physical, plus other non physical senses. my soul is what causes me to be and feel different. i've lived a lot of past lives, and most of them were not in human bodies...im not well adjusted to being in a human body. i used to be a dragon, a long, long time ago.

Permalink Reply by Sarah on March 7, 2010 at 8:04pm: this original post was a collection of information that i had found online. it all applied to a person i know, and we still dont really know what they are. but it seemed to fit the vampire profile and they were going through hell for a while. i wanted people to stop obsessing about being a vampire because its not fun, i was trying to take the glamour out of it.

im pretty positive that the person i know is not an awakening vampire, but something else...they dont seem to crave blood, and havent really developed a craving over the months. so im pretty sure that its something else. there are other creatures that would likely go through the same type of thing during awakening. i actually think they may be a type of Fae.

Permalink Reply by Aisling on March 7, 2010 at 10:35pm: Erm... there is something called a "bloodletter" it is similar to a vampire. It is actually a sort of parallel vampire from the Argon Cluster. I don't know much about them but I believe that they are almost exactly like vampires the one difference - the only thing about them that I know for SURE... - is that bloodletters don't crave blood but they need it. (or at least it SHOULD be part of their diets...)
