I felt compelled to write my second post due to the number of members on this of site that seem to be of a grand old age, or so they say. This is loosely connected with my first post in relation to expressing oneself as something or someone their not and feeling the need to do so, this is not a personnel attack on any one member and for this post I have reframed from naming members in question. As I have quoted before I tend to listen more then talk and take the time required to try and understand people and though doing this I have had the opportunity to meet certain people and observe others from a distance. During my time here I have selected only a few members as friends and discuss private matters with these individuals, but while searching the site I have come across other members profiles and other members discussions and I seem to find an increasing number of individuals that are old in range from a couple of hundred years to 15’000 years and even 7.00000 what ever that is supposed to be?. I do not wish to get in a discussion about opinions I simply what to clarify some points and give my opinion to some of these clams, first off if an individual has survived for at least 100 years I would believe that person would be well educated, so would at least be able to spell and communicate in a modern day language (possibility many) that could be understood. I confess I do prefer to write and speak in an old form of Latin and I have used this on many occasions including initial discussions with new individuals but shortly after I always revert to a more recent format recognised and understood by both parties. Any force, entity, belief or idea that’s takes physical form and exists on this plain must be able to survive in the world we know today, but the world we know today was very different in the past. One individual claims to be 15’000 years old!! Do you have any idea what has happened in the last 15’000 years? Entire plates have moved, counties been formed, climate and temperate has changed, entire species have been wiped out and new ones formed. The success rate to survive at that rate would be very low in deed, you would have to contend with food shortage (depending on your energy source) if it was humans it would be very differcult the estimated population of the world in the 7th millennium was 5 million and they would have been scatted and their were no cars or public transport back then! Temperate and climate change, hostile environments, predators, natural disasters, and that’s only in the beginning later on severe temperate change, wars, disease, hostile interaction the list is very long. Even an individual with a competitive edge would still find it very differcult (if not impossible) to survive until now. Also another member who had also been alive (supposedly) for 15’000 years favourite film/book/text was Twilight! I mean in a human life span one can be subject to beautiful moments and unforgettable events that will touch the soul and forever be remembered, and I’m sure if you’ve been around 15’000 years I know (not think) you would prefer and could name many other notable works of art. For humans time is the most precious object you have, people can give you money or status, love or hate but your time given is priceless use every day to better yourself and always embrace life in your own way in what ever makes you happy, it is never to late to make your glory and show the world your true self, as one general once said ‘one crowed hour of glory is worth a lifetime with no name’.
