is the michigan dogman possibly a werewolf?
Im HUGELY into cryptozoology. its basically the study of creatures whos existence isnt yet proved. like bigfoot, loch ness, chupacabra...this is the career path im choosing, to be a cryptozoologist from a trained scientific standpoint. im planning on getting my degree in zoology. i frequently browse the forums on AboveTopSecret.com. they have a whole section for this stuff...and theres a thread there about the michigan dogman and another called The Beast of Bray Road...im thinking that its possible that it could be were's. this video of the dogman really bugs me out for some reason...

at first i had thought it moved somewhat like a primate, but then it leaps and starts bounding forward like a canine would. also, it has a tail like a canine, and pointed ears...what are everyones thoughts on this?

I just watched it and a few others on it.. at first I thought it was a corny home video people wanted to scare others with, but now I'm not so sure. To me, it looks like a primate, but I couldn't see any tail or ears. It did bound forward like a dog, but it was very poor resolution.

in the really slowed down vid if you watch it carefully it has a tail...and another person posted on youtube an analysis of the end where the things teeth are right at the camera...and then compared its teeth to a gorilla and there was no match...the guy that professionally analyzed the patterson footage of bigfoot was given this video to analyze and apparently after watching it he couldnt sleep for several nights it bothered him that much...i dont know what in the world it is...some people think its a creature called a ground sloth...they're known to be extinct, so maybe they're not...its all rather fascinating to me :D

its not a human, bear, dog or gorilla...its been analyzed several times over the course of the last 30 or 40 years...lol. if it was simply one of those creatures...we wouldnt still be trying to figure out what it is. it has a tail. humans, bears and gorillas do not have tails...or at least ones like what this creature has. there was also a really basic analysis of the very end of the original film, of the creatures teeth. because it does attack whoever is filming. the teeth are not a match with gorilla or human...i would say they do look like the teeth of a canine...but i've never seen any canine move the way it does at the start...if you pause the clip from the third link at 16 seconds you can see the tail. it looks very much like the tail of the average dog...

yea i've seen the second gable film. i dont think theres any sort of concrete evidence to prove that the torso in the second video is the torso of the guy who filmed the original video...but it wouldnt surprise me if it was...that creature looked mean and angry enough to tear a body apart.

Well the creature attacked the filmer's face... so I don't think the torso is actually his. Otherwise the dude would NOT have a face.

the main bigfoot video...the patterson film...has pretty much been proved to not be a human in a suit. :) so i think its entirely possible that this is some unknown creature...and yea...what you describe seeing...im pretty positive that were's are bipedal. and very large.

honestly i think there's one here in this little bitty town where i live...it's crazy but i've seen it it hunched had long arms with claws and a snout and pointy ears. it walked on it's hind legs too like a human. but i haven't seen it in years.

Wow. Those guys were making one boring-ass film before that thing conveniently showed up. That and the fact that it supposedly attacked the guy with the camara is highly suspicious to me. When was this film released? It's possible they used an old camara and old film to further degrade the image. I'm a fan of cryptozoology and believe it's a serious science that needs to be better studied. But, to me, this film is suspect.
