Nature, The Gate and the Fae
Since I was young I have had a series of visions of the ongoing destruction of nature . One intense set of visions concerned the opening of the gate between the mortal world and the otherworld which I feel occurred in mortal time about 40 years ago. After this gate was opened faeries were despatched in groups to inhabit of bodies of humans to send back information about what was happening in the mortal world and perhaps try and preserve things. The faeries sent were of many kinds but they would be trapped in mortal bodies as a form of changeling, often only in their dreams would their spirit be free. In my dreams I often find my self travelling back to Isles of the Blessed to tell what I have learned.
Now I have talked to some other fae over the years who think this vision has some meaning for them too one even said they had a similar vision of a great troop of fae coming through a glowing ring in the sky. They seem to feel they have been put here for some great purpose.
Does it mean anything to anyone here? What I certainly have noticed is that fae otherkin mostly in their human form seem to be fairly young which certainly coincides with this vision and that there seems to be a sudden surge in numbers.

Yes I have considered this. I certainly regard myself as being connected to the faeries as one of those exiled. What I am wondering is. Are my visions accurate not just for me but other fae?
Tanewha seems to share some of my ideas so this could be significant.

gwyn i have had dreams like that and visions of what the humans not in volved or like me involved but refuse to go home till things settle here have to deal with after the gate is open there will be a war because the humans think the armogedon had come i have already seen this war and my part in it i am protecting woman and children along with men just as much as i am protecting nature around me what u see and feel but u will go home and not fight in the war which is why i dont dee it i see that more than i see the opening of the gate the opening of the gate should hapen in the next 5 or 6 years be ready i am already getting ready

This is interesting indeed. Yes some have said to me there will be a war of somekind. I just see a great darkness ahead trouble for may and mortals too. But the earth is in such a sad state it is inevitable.

There will certainly be dark times ahead but not a war of otherkin versus the humans. The human politicians and priests are leading their peoples towards catastrophe in their blind quest to fill the pockets of themselves and their friends. The point of no return has been passed and the catastrophe is unstoppable. All otherkin must be aware and be prepared to help each other in the dark times ahead. If the gates are not opened in time it could be very bad indeed.

what is coming will be a war of the humans but some faries like me will stay after the opening of the gate to help protect the inicant and the ones who have tryed to save the forest yes it is the polititions and the preasts that start the war the humans have to fight but it will harm us to in a way those of us with close friends that arent farie like us that have to fight this war dont i think it will hurt those of us that have those of us with those close bonds with the humans to know you werent there for the people u cared about that would hurtme which is why i am staying to help those that i can when the war starts and all threw the waruntill it is close enough to an end for me to go threw the gate with the knowing that those i fought to protect will be safe there will be others like me that stay to protect i have already met a few of them the question is how many will stay to protect the humans we care about i dont think many will but i may be wrong and i hope i am with what i have seen of the war its bad i hope all the inicent humans servive it i know not all will but i hope most will

That is a nice idea and if you are the type of Faerie known as a solitary Faerie such as a Lepracaun then you can do what you want. If, however, you belong to the great majority of Faeries who are communal and delight in each others company then you are subject to the rule of the Faerie Queene. The Faerie Realm is not, thank heavens, a democracy and the cult of the individual is not found in Faerie society.
When the Queene reveals herself then all the Faerie will be happy to do her will and would gladly die in her service even if they could not imagine doing such a thing now. When that day is, is unknown and she probably does not yet know that she is the Queene and could well be someone in this forum.
When it comes to it if She says stay and protect the humans then you will do that but if she says go, you will go and do so gladly.
