old vampires...experiences, stories, rumours?

So I was wondering what people know about some of the elder vampires in the world :) I remember reading something on a website a while ago about how theres a popular rumour, urban legend type story that a very old vampire (around 2000 years old maybe older) is living under manhattan subway systems. I was just wondering if anyone else has information about the worlds old old vampires :D

The New York vampires are more into the fashion life stylers of vampirism or so I what I see in the city.

I seen what are suppose to be "sang's" carrying a black book and what they do and speak is never to be spoken unless you become a member. Its what my friends and I talked about when we seen one visiting at Forbidden planet.

oh i completely agree with you about the new york vampire scene of fashion and lifestylers. but this is a rumour about a real vampire that lives underground in solitude and seclusion. i find it quite intriguing! :D lol.

what they do and speak is never to be spoken unless you become a member? lol. very similar to how a vampire is with the exception of the "until you become a member" part...haha. carrying a black book? is that supposed to make them look more authentic and believable? :P i have my own personal issues with the so called "vampire community"...im going to maybe do a bit of research and start a discussion about that to see what others think...unless of course you want to! :D

I haven't heard about it, but I could look into it. Weird people walk around the city of Manhattan of course.
However, its what attracts the public.

I have no idea but there is speculation about it being a vampire's bible or so. Sure I'll be delighted. Personally, I consider "Communism is Fascism"

I did hear about an ancient one. The One who sleeps beneath the ruins of this ancient civilization in Ghana. People like to talk about the arc of the covenant, and they like to whisper about the crystal skull, chatter about the route to lost Atlantis, and so many other things, but this vampire is around that old, maybe older. He is so old that he has forgotten his own living name, and so his name, like many other ancient things merely describes what he does. Roughly, his name translates as "The one who walks the way of Blood" by some tribes and "The hunter in the darkness" by others. Some merely refer to him as "Blood Devil" He is so old that some even call to him as if he was Djab, but he is not. He is an ancient one, and may be just one, maybe the last of the originals.

They say he comes out to feed only once or twice a century, but that whole tribes will vanish completely when he rises. he is one who sees through the eyes of his servants, and calls lions to his aid. Long ago, he dealt with the spirits, and was granted the rituals to become what he is. His structure is that of a true African, but his flesh is the color of Dover chalk. His fingers are taloned with razor sharp nails.

He wraps himself in animal skins for clothing, and it is said that the animal he wraps himself in, he can change into. It is also said of him that he can become as the mist, and so enter the lungs of sleeping children, killing them as they draw breath. His strength is that of four elephantes, and his skin is as cold as the grave.

His power is vast and old, and those who can sense it often go mad from the very feel of it. He has not allowed a child of his lineage to live in over a thousand years. The reason for this is that a thousand years ago, his children rebelled against him and attempted to seal him, but failed. As a result he killed off his progeny down to the thirteenth generation before retreating to the place they had built for him. There he remains, alone, the very first and very last of his lineage

what a miserable existence. wow. it saddens me so much. and how his power is very old and that those who can sense it often go mad...thats rough. i experience that but on a much much smaller scale im sure :) i love reading these..stories? is that an appropriate term? i guess it will have to be for now..lol. but i love reading them and learning about how they live and all that.

I remember him... such a sad thing. I felt pity for him, but most of the others never cared that much for him.

Your words are word for word almost the same as Zane's books. I suggest don't copy her work for I am a fan of many of her books and erotic tales.

um. You are full of yourself. I am not copying. I don't even know who Zane is other than the brief search I just did. Seriously? You need to read more legends if you think this is anything like a smut novel. So try again before you care to casually insult people and acuse them of plagarizing for no good reason and no real proof. Erotic tales like it looks like Zane into is not what this is about. It's not my thing. Apologize or buzz off.

Nope...But somehow people figured out about my little incident with the garden gnome and trailer park in L.A with my friends. And somehow I got into the paper from covering myself in tin foil and climbing a tree in a lightning storm. And I still have no clue how the story got out there...Haha. But I haven't heard of that legend, probably because I live in Canada and i'm too lazy to find anything out.
