types...well...there are different theories on the types of vampires. there are some sites that have information, of course im not sure about the accuracy of what they say...but you could try the vampiric studies site...or sanguinarius...sphynx cat is another one...google those and they'll give you some info. or just google "real vampires" and you should get some interesting results :D if there are any really specific questions i'll try and answer as best i can, or at least find an answer for you :) but those sites will describe different types of vampires.

no problem...man...i wish that i could have done an assignment about vampires when i was in school...lol that would have rocked...and i would have got an A+...just like you will! lol. we...or at least *I* will try and help you get an A+!!! lol
Hopefully I will get an A. My class is very excited and is waiting with anticapation on what I will say. This speech is an informative one and has a time limit of 3 minutes. My plan is to use the vampire theme for all my speeches. I cant wait because the next speech we will have to use visuals. It will be a blast. Thanks for your input, I will use it.
I think you can check in the vampire forums. Many people share ideas and give nice infomation about the many kinds of vampires there maybe. There are many discussions so I can't tell which one is good enough.

wikipedia does wonders.
but if you want to write about something you are interested in it is best to do the research for yourself.

that wiki page can help with the history and folklore, but probably not the actual truth about real vampires. and i try not to bother with wikipedia anymore anyway, because anyone can make a wiki page about something or edit the pages. i also read that some colleges are now not accepting wikipedia as a proper "source" of information because there is so much false stuff on there. and searching for information on real vampires can be very difficult if you arent really sure what you're looking for. which is probably why she came here and asked for our help :)
tracing back the folklore is what provides you with the answers to the current. If wikipedia isn't accepted by colleged i doubt that fairiesvampires.com is considered creditable either. But it is great that you can do a paper on such an amazing subject, schools weren't always so open minded.
thanks to all of you for your help. I googled types of vampires and got what I needed. Here is a site you all may be interested in. sanguinarius.org. There is plenty of info on this site, for all types of vampires. If I can be of help let me know.
