As of now I am 12 weeks pregnant with the child of my vampire fiancée. I am completely human however I have obviously never experienced this before. Do you know of any legitimate advice or websites you could give me? Also, how dangerous is this to me? I am already having unusual side effects.

To hope darcy : you are such a sweetheart you are exactly the support I need right now. To Kaila: thank god someone else has gone through this. Please feel free to msg me with any advice or just to talk.

No problem sweety. I've sort of secretly dedicated myself to supporting any sort of pregnant woman through her pregnancy since I've had many friends get pregnant and not be treated so well. So it bugs the crap outta me, and I go into defensive and supportive mode. Actually it's more like a mothering mode I go into...even though I myself am not a mother yet. Course I guess that's what happens when you're the oldest child in a large family (and your parents don't do much on raising the kids).
But yes....I would Soooo love updates on how things are going. Also you can PM me ANYTIME you'd like. I'll try my best to reply back (my computer sucks and screws up sometimes so don't be surprised if it's a while before you get a response though).
To those who are asking about side effects : my face is very drained of color I'm often cold and nauseous. I get dizzy often. Its difficult but well worth the effort
Oh wow...well being nauseous is normal for any pregnant woman, so don't be too worried about that. Also so is being dizzy. Just make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Actually now that I think about it, so is being drained of color. Well some woman have that (even with a human child). So those shouldn't be too alarming. Now usually a pregnant mother is getting some hot flashes their tempature is a little warmer...so i don't know about that one, unless i guess if you and your baby are both prone to being cold. But that's just a theory. Sorry..I'm sorta thinking out loud. But yeah for the most part is sounds like you'll be just fine. Take your prenatals, eat right, drink plenty of fluids, if you get cold grab a hoodie or blanket and you should be just fine. Also try to not stress to much. You'll be fine. I'm rootin for ya girl!
Realistically, you have the equivalent of an oven in your belly. you're gonna get hot and cold as your body tries to compensate for this radical new development. The dizzyness could be caused by malnutrition. Remember, you're eating for two now, and the second is making the transition from a little microscopic bundle of meat into something that has bones, muscles, nerves, eyes and everything else, and weighs between 5 and 10 pounds. All in 9 months. Bamboo doesn't grow that fast. It takes a lot of energy to grow like that, so keep some sort of munchies on you, the protein energy bars are a godsend. Something else to remember, yourbaby is gonna get the things it needs to grow regardless of whereit comes from. Medically speaking, it's a parasitic organism. So, it can get what it needs either by stealing it from your body, or from your food. Calcium from bones and teeth, proteins from muscle mass, various minerals from blood and liver. Okay, I know I'm beating this into the ground, but this stuff is really important in order to have a healthy baby and keep you healthy enough to care for it afterwards.

i made my mother go mad, im a psy and that is what i know. you should know that getting pregnant by a vampire is very dangerous. Sometimes the male leaves. (Heads up) Sometimes they stay, depends. Giving birth to a vampire baby is hard, difficult, yet, it doesn't eat its way out. that is a myth. But it does suck all the energy out of you, it may take your blood, so the Doc will try and give you iron pills, these are human symptoms. your body will start to tell you wether or not its a psy or sang. my mother told me that while she was carrying me she wanted to sleep during the day and work and play at night. She went on to say that she would sleep for days straight. eating only sugary things, and sweet things.
Just be careful. I have learned that some male vampires will get jeolous of the baby... (i've only heard don't quote me)
