To writers! I CHALLENGE YOU!

This is a shoutout to writers. I browse around and see many a profile with "chapter 1, chapter 2 etc." in the blog space. But they all read kinda the same. I have a challenge to you. Write an original short story that includes vampires but does not include the following elements: Romantic love within the first ten chapters (and then NOT between a vampire and another species), a school (any place of learning), the moon, kid with lighting on their forehead, or an elf that can shoot arrows really well whos name starts with an 'L'.
Do you get the idea? I challenge you to write something ORIGINAL. Your own. I don't actually ban the use of the ideas listed above, but if you do use them, make them different.

We vampires are every where. We see thing, hear thing, that no one could understand. We are an old races, dating back for thousands of generations. Thousands of years ago a man died. But the man was no ordinary man. He was a scientist. Alfred Hans. One day he was being stupid and accidently pricked his finger, exposing his blood to his own virus. He didn't think anything of it and when on with his experiments. Then he died about a year later. He ended up coming back as a vampire. Alfred could never explain why we where cursed with drinking blood, but he never dank human blood.
Before I go on I should explain who we are. I am part of a group of rouge vampires. My "coven" is made up of four people: Will, Jamie, Windslow (the weapons specialist), and me, Cathy. We keep the vampires and any other magical creature in check, making sure they don't harm the human. But we are being hunted by our own kind. They don't like what we do, but they can't stop us.
