I want you to take a deep breath, okay? Calm down.

You're twenty. That means everything's goinf to be just fine. As an adult, it's normal for people to move. Get a job, make some money, and then anounce that you're moving to wherever you want to go. Your family will understand, they've raised you for this moment. Parents don't want their children to stay home forever. THey want they kids to sproud wings and fly (though... not exactly literarly). It's nomral for grown ups to move away, and you're a grown up now. THrow a going away party, say your good byes, I'll miss yous, and I love yous, and be on your way. You can write to them every now and then, too, or you can drop off the face of the planet. That's your choice. Leaving home is hard for everyone, but it's a neccasary step, especially for you.

granted that its a necessary step...but how do i stop the questions until i can move?
they already know that il be leaving....they dont know that ill be dropping of the face of the earth....and my family are very close knit, im about to leave a big hole....how do i stop the questions? I just need it to last another two years....but its everyday....

I wouldn't worry about it, if people start asking questions just laugh it off.
There are a lot of people who don't age like others, doesn't mean they will catch on.
If they ask just say your eating right and taking care of your self, to be honest people aren't as smart as you think they are, they are slow and will probably laugh it off them self's..

hmm good point....maybe it might be enough to shake them off, but a lot of people here are very religious...they keep an eye on things like this...maybe i really need to hurry up the escape ...maybe thats the only way =/

call them once in a while. I make sure to call at least someone in my family once a month. My family was 'insular' as well. I try to contact at least someone in the family at least once a month. I don't call my dad much, mostly because my dad in an attempt to seem normal draws from his family's energies without care or concern and I gt tired of him trying to feed off of me. anyways. long, off-topic story. point being. . .

They don't have to see you to know you're alive so you shouldn't just absolutely drop off the radar. communicate once a week or once a month or whatever seems appropriate to you. And you don't absolutely need to tell them anything about vampyrism anyways.

Sounds alittle drastic, but you could always lie to this particularly nosy girl, and say that you've beel illegally taking Human Growth Hormone, or HGH. That's known to slow aging. Point out to her that many Japanese men and women still have wrinkle-free skin and black hair well into their sixties - claim good genetics. Jane Fanning looks like she's twelve, for christs sake.
But seriously, get out as soon as possible. If you truly are a vampire, I do not see the delay. You can feed yourself, clothe yourself, take care of yourself. Run away, and soon. You can get back in touch later, after you've perfected the makeup artist techniques of fake aging (of which I am an expert...).
See, if humans start to guess the truth about you...well, there's a council of elders designated to deal with such breaches of security. They will come and kill YOU, and ALL of your family and friends. It will happen slowly, each death appearing to be a random murder or accident; but slowly and surely, they will all die.
You cannot let the secret be revealed.

I will tear a hole in anything that even looks remotely like it will hurt my family. I may seem worried, and of course I am. But nothing and no-one should make the grave mistake of thinking I'm uneducated in my powers and abilities.

My family wont find out. I'll make sure of that, I understand that they need to be protected. I'm confident I can deal with the situation. But thankyou for the heads up.

Haunted is right, however. Most humans can't stand being laughed at. If anyone gets too...blatent in their accusations, laugh at them - hysterically. "Oooo, what are you, TWO???You probably believe in the boogie man too!! Oh, hahaha..."

That's actually worked for me, too. Humans are very quick to doubt their own instincts, because society instructs them to.
