What if it is something more?
Now i have been contimplateing this for a long time now. I have noticed a lot of people claming that they might be a vampire, they have said they have been getting strange symtoms, and such. Now I am not competely sure but who knows, maybe there is a new strand, a weaker strand than the traditional vampire, immortal and such, created maybe by government and it is spreading, or something more, like a change in the world, a spiritual change if you will. Maybe the time is approaching for a change, and everyone is feeling it, well not everyone really but some are, they are feeling a change, perhaps gaining a special power in the process, and maybe when the time finally comes, all humans may go through it. I believe this world once held great power, power that was lost, and now the world is waking up to it again. Or it just could be nothing, just an increase of wanting to be like a vampire due to some books and what not. All i can really say is it seems to be increaseing, more people are searching, looking for an answer. You can call us blind, but for some reason, i believe something is happening. Who knows i could just be wrong about my assumtions, but then again, i may not.

I have a theory that otherworld creatures mixed their genes with the human population hundreds of years ago knowing that they would be persecuted by church and science to extinction. Now that the human genome has been mapped it will not be long before some clever geneticist discovers these superhuman genes. For this reason these genes are starting to express themselves in the creatures you see on this forum.

It could be a posiblility, but who truly knows? I guess we will have to wait and find out, but who knows, the change might be bad, the change could cause the end of hte world the savior of it. But if its the destruction of the world as we know it, and when the time comes, then it may be too late. Or it could just be nothing, just crazying thoughts, random thoughts flying through our heads, thinking way to much.

I have nothing against the destruction of human civilisation as it is unjust and cruel. How humans will react to finding new speicies erupting from their midst one can predict by looking at the way they always have and still react to strangers - with fear, loathing and violence. It will not be pretty.

Well i have to agree humans have done some horrible things, but not all humans are bad and should die. If they just take a breather and not jump to conclusions then it will be fine, but i know what you mean, they will react that way, but not all of them will, not all humans are complete idiots.

I am not for the destruction of humans just their civilisation, especially the western variety. So long as ther are people who are dying from hunger and there are people eating supersized meals and people dying for want of medical treament because they cannot afford health inusrance then it just plain sucks. If otherworld creatures can come and make things better then they are welcome by me.

Well, i can sort of see it your way because the world in ancient times most likely did have great power but because the people living on earth at the time were using that power and trying to take it from the world the world's power vanished so no one could take it.....that's what i believe i also believe that there once was great numbers of vampires once upon a time but who knows.

Yeah, mabye at one time there was all this magic or something, and creatures beyond your wildest dreams, but time went on and they either died off or humans pushed them away, and they become stuff of fantisy, same as the powers humans may have had once. I believe the time is coming again where it will start to come back, it should, humans have become blind to the world, and as tanewha said, 'they always have and still react to strangers - with fear, loathing and violence.' But still i have to say some humans are not like that, but most are.

i've thought the same thing for quite a while..
people ask me if i'm immortal, if i have fangs.
i've always replied " no. i think that the vampire genetics are getting weaker. the elders do have them though also no one know's if we're immortal except for the elders"
I don't think it's the goverments doing.
i just think that the vampire genetics are getting weaker through the years
maybe every human will go through it.
i know that i "felt" the change when i was very young...
