Whiskey Lullaby , i think ..
i like this song now ! this song is about a man and a woman who were married; he went to war and when he came back she was with another man. He kills himself, drinking himself to death, leaving a note to say that he still loves her. I...n the next verse the woman is mourning his loss. She thinks it's her fault and kills herself as well, drinking herself to death, holding his picture.
Its a beautiful song..
though i think the saddest song for me would be my immortal by evanescence..
It portrays so much of my life and i feel that i really connect to it.
Mine is Lullabies by All Time Low. Yeah I talk about that song ALL THE TIME!!! lol its about Alex's (Alex is the lead singer if you didnt know) brother who committed suicide. looooooove that song!!!
Avril Lavigne's "Slipped Away" She wrote it about her grandpa after he died, and for a while, I couldn't even listen to it after my grandparent/slash second parent passed...but now that I've moved on, her voice seems so much better and the lyrics are so deep and profound...of course, a lot of MCR songs, like "Ghost of You" and "Disenchanted" are sort of touching, too...and Kelly Clarkson's "Haunted" and "Irvine"...I should probably stop now before I never shut up. Songs just have that way of moving you, that's all.
the song you described is Whiskey lullaby: Brad Paisley
my favorite is Say That You'll Understand: Last Place You Look (its a local band from Texas)
so you'd have to listen to the Home Grown Local Show on BigDog 106 or go to their website
or The End, Tears Don't Fall: Bullet For My Valentine or Texas Cries: Element 80
