The main reason for existance is to attain enlightenment and help others attain that. Normal average vampires are not enlightened like the bodhissatva or buddhas. Living to serve others is the reason for immortality and to guide the races and nations from behind the scenes. There is alot to do. It's all about getting your eyes off yourself and on the needs of the many and work for them. There are many ways to do that for immortals and mortals alike. WHen you help others you help yourself.

If I had to live forever, and I had superhuman strength. I would dedicate everything to becoming a Vigilante. I wouldn't have family anymore. I would find a freind here and there. Maybe. And Money..I wouldn't live for money. I hate how our justice system displays so much injustice. I think the death penalty needs to be used more and too it's fullest. If someone kills an innocent other, then they should die, if a man rapes a girl, he has no more rights. I believe in Punishment.

Understand this. Yes I too believe in justice. Not revenge. Nature takes care of its own. Why do people hurt other people? Even in your sexual assault example. People hurt others because of ignorance and they are hurting. People get confused and do something they can later regret. Even something they think they might never do. People put their "self" above everything else. A self that has absolutly no existance in reality. "I" "me" not others. "How dare they do that to me!" Nothing has ever happended to anyone anywhere and there has never been a victim. People say "Innocent as a new born baby". If a new born was innocent why would they be being born here? They have a track record of misdoings from beginningless time. Because over time we've convinced ourselves that this "me" exists to such a strong extent they protect it. By doing wrong and the cycles continues. This is a place and life of suffering. Innocents are not born here. Unless they willingly came and that's the spiritual leaders of humans or what ever you call yourself. All sentient beings.
