Why dislike being human?
For all you people out there who are ashamed to be human, stand up and listen. Or watch actually.
In all of my time, the best creatures I've observed in hunting, thinking, etc are humans. Sure you enjoy watching vampires being all powerful and such but I'm willing to say one thing. The world is dominated you guys. Sure you may not be the fastest, strongest, or most agile. The capacity to think is bestowed upon you. I'm not damning any Otherkin and this, but feel proud to be human. There are chances you could have been born worse as a simple prey animal.
To be honest, humans I actually admire a bit. Going around on their daily lives, as if nothing happens. I admire this because you can suffer an entire blow to your society, yet still come back such as the Fall of Rome. I'm frankly amazed because no other species has been able to do this.
I believe that humans will be around for a while and Vampires and Otherkin as such, will evolve to become much more intelligent versions of humans seeing that's what today's world demands. In time, we will see who survives.
I don't like to forget the individuals as well. To tell you the truth, in America, individuals rule this nation. The power to step and have many opportunities is also bestowed on you. As Otherkin, we cannot do much for the world seeing having to be in hiding as such. But you, yes you Joe user of this computer, can make a huge difference. You could become President of the US, or have many influential positions. Heck if that bumbling idiot Bush can do it, you can. Once, I watched a video on youtube that showed him being locked out of his own office.
Another thing I hate is Twilight, not just because it is fictional, because it wastes so much precious time. Also, Twilight demotes the general self-concept of someone making them dull and only believing in such Vampire lore and believing that they theoretically must be a vampire to experience a joyfull life. BS.
Okay, so don't be disappointed being born human. It would have been worse if you born livestock. Yum.

Actually, if you look at it. It seems like the grass is greener on the otherside, but if you look at it, it's not fun being left out of things because you seem more mature than the other people around you, and the people around you don't get what you're talking about, and you're treated like an outsider. Do you know how many people would kill to just have normal lives, and have friends that they can talk to, and just feel normal? A lot of people.
Don't be mislead by anne rice, and other famous vampire authors. Everyone wants to have what they don't, and when they get it, they don't want it anymore... keep that in mind.
By the way, Lilah, I remember you posting that you're a vampire, and than a therian, and a lot of other things. What happened to that?

The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side. To tell you the truth, I don't want a genius brain. It haunts me that I notice every single little detail when talking to someone. I can twist someone's words so far as to not break them, yet using the childish concept of 'why are you hitting yourself' which is basically grabbing someone's hand instead of using your own and forcing them to punch themselves or at least physically damage themselves. Think of it as that.

Me well yes the way you put it being human has great advantages, but when I look at being turned I don't see myself as being different, I'm still me, just with a blood lust and much stronger, I like different, Iike stuff like that, even though I would be vampire, I don't really see that I would really be different than who I am, I would still be Chad, but of course its not my choice in the matter to be changed, they seek me out, not the other way around, sure I would like to be changed, but does it mean its going to happen, depends if they want to or not or will even take notice for that matter anyway. Humans are a strange being, very strange, if brought to a point of annahalation, somehow we become strong, we unit, and we fight to the bone, then we build, we strengthen, men of great valor and mind rise from the ashes and take posts and direct a new armada for the next empire, we build and we become weak in body and mind again not caring and about hunting and gathering but earning our salery then it will crumble and we will shift to hunting and gathering, we become ignorant in population and strong with little population, perserverence is our element. But when I see being changed, I don't really so much see as myself changing in mind, only in body.
