there are to many young people these days drink? is to look good around their friends to stuff themselfs up and cause truble i want to know what you think to me i am out raged and discussted about the hole thing
well Arthur, when you've experienced severe chronic clinical depression like i have, i will gladly take your opinion into account. theres nothing lame about suicide. it wasnt that i couldnt take it any longer. i didnt want out because i couldnt handle it. i wanted out so i would stop burdening the people around me...so they wouldnt have to deal with me any more. and its not like i was "giving up so fast" either. i've been having clinical depression and other psychotic issues for several years. just remember...Some people have the courage to live, others have the courage to die.
It takes a LOT of courage to do both, really. As someone who's been in that position many times in my past I feel I can have an objective yet empathetic view... Regardless, suicide is never the answer. I never really wanted to die.. I just wanted to sleep for a few years.
But uh, that's not possible.
people drink for a number of different reasons their parents do it their friends do it. they have no other ways to rid their pain
they think they're better at thing when they drink and even think they're cool ( you're not) to them anything to kill pain for that breef moment is enough for them
That's SOME people's reasons for drinking.
Does nobody realize that some people drink just because they like to? And they don't get trashed and kill bussloads of schoolchildren?
I'm 16 and I'd consider myself a responsible drinker. I drink because I like the taste, not the effect. I never drink in excess, and I never have. And I usually drink with my parents.
How weird is that? ;)
Not all young people drink irresponsibly. Not all older people drink responsibly.
I would have to agree, there are a lot of people that could use some self control, but no one is perfect.
