why do people hate emo's...

why do people hate emo's we never did anything to make them.All we did was be ourselves and they hate... is it because we are different than them or what.When a emo person walks down the street people stair and think," Who do they think they are being emo." I get that alot but i never hurt them all i did was be myself. why does the world have to be so jugdemental about us emos. And when i say this i speak for all emos who have been put down... fuck what they have to say and leave us emos alone we never hurt you so dont hurt us.

Now listen, I've been down this whole "cutting" (but not the ridiculous "emo" road, even then I thought it was stupid) road before years ago, and let me tell you: I don't know your story in particular, but seeing as how you're speaking for all the "emo" kids, I'll speak generally (meaning when I say "you", I mean "emo" kids in general) : The shit that I've lived with was, and still is, a hell of a lot worse than these damned "emo" kids, and take a look here: did cutting help me? NO, duh; it didn't. It made my skin look like shit and made people look at me like I was a moron, which I was. I'm SICK of these stupid kids that are SO depressed because their Mommies and Daddies are spending money for them to get expensive Hot Topic clothes and tons of hair dye. News flash: some kids don't have ANY clothes. Your parents are divorced? JOIN THE CLUB. Your single Mommy, who works 3 jobs to support you, isn't home enough? SUCK IT UP. Family problems, a key issue typically in these "emo" kids lives, end when that person is 18, or whatever the adult age in their country is. Some kids don't LIVE that long. When people are sad, the goal is generally to feel better, right? SO HOW DOES BASING YOUR ENTIRE BEING ON HOW GODDAMN SAD YOU ARE MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER? Oh... right! IT DOESN'T. You just sit there and wallow in self-pity and don't do a thing to contribute to society or help those who really are in need. I realize sometimes things happen to these "emo" kids that ARE serious, like rape or abuse. But you're not the only ones. I've been down those roads MULTIPLE, do you hear me? MULTIPLE TIMES. What you NEED to do is find some help (come on now, you all have access to computers- stop whoring yourselves on myspace and use google for something useful!) and then HELP OTHERS who have been down that road. If you're just going to sit there and take up valuable oxygen, why the hell are you still there? You want to feel better? Help others. THAT'S what heals you.

Quit being weenies. Suck it up and SURVIVE. Since these words are from the lips of a survivor (me), don't you dare tell me I don't understand. I understand TOO much, and THAT'S why I am so, so mad about these kids.
