Why do we have to hide from Humans? Aren't we the dominant species?

I think we should start an army and take the world in our hands, then, maybe, we can allow our mother to replenish as she deserves.

-no food for the human feeders (ones who feed on humans ONLY)
-they have nuclear weapons. dunno WHAT radiation would do to a full vamp, but it would kill anything else. exceot cockroaches lolz
-they also have other weapons
-they have WAAY more humans on earth than almost any other creature... abour 6.7 BILLION
-AND theres a HUMAN child born every 6 seconds. that doesn't help keep their numbers down

Yet if vampires did not exist, then why has it become such a popular existance with books and movies and everything. Starting back with like vlad the impaler and everything. I just wish to know, if they really DID exist. Why not just stop hiding and come out. I have seen peopel pretend they were vampires with the teeth and everything, but seriously they were NOT. It would be truly amazing to see something out of the ordinary show its face. I am human myself, but I have a very open mind to things and just wish to know why are you so afraid of us so called humans? When clearly you have more power than us? I realize it seems that way, but to a vampire, quite literally, that is all you are. food. end of story. to them you are cattle. theirs for the taking. The reason vampires arent going to start a war and take over is because that would break one of the golden rules. if you do that...you're in BIG trouble. vampires are held to a general set of "rules" or "laws". exposing ones true self breaks that rule. it doesnt matter how many numbers of vampires you gather together...the elders will find out...and find you.

not starting a war really hasnt got anything to do with the numbers and the weapons and all that other stuff...there wont be a war because that would mean exposing yourself and that is a huge no no...; ▶ Reply to This

Vampires won't do this (like sarah said) plus the fact that humans do thier own damage why should we add to the mess and destruction that they create themselves. im not saying that we are lazy, its just pointless, the risk is too great. of Exposure, not just to yourself but exposure of others.
