After the alarms, Laura takes off her jacket, tries to search on the main computer what’s happening and it doesn’t work, so she decides to search. Laura takes her blue card key, takes a flashlight and leaves, she goes outside, all the lights are off, some things are fallen down and no one is around.
Laura finds a radio on the ground; she picks it up, presses a button and says, “Is anyone there? This is Laura; I’m a computer tech, what is going on?”
Laura waits, there’s static and nothing, Laura puts the radio down, she then hears someone yell, Laura turns to the elevator, she goes to the door, opens it and sees an elevator.
A man’s voice says, “Hello? Is anyone there?”
“Yes, my name is Laura, I’m a computer tech, I’ll get you moving,” says Laura.
She goes over to the top lock, she tries to open it and then sees an electronic lock, she starts pushing buttons when the man’s voice says, “Could you at least tell us what you’re doing?”
“I have to open the emergency lock and then you can get out, it’ll take me about 3 or 4 minutes,” says Laura.
She then hears a sound like a metal lock opening, she closes her eyes and says, “Please don’t tell me what I think that is.”
Laura looks up and sees an elevator above speeding down, Laura tries to work quickly, people in the elevator are yelling, Laura moves quickly onto a small side edge. The elevators hit each other, they speed down to the bottom and explode, Laura looks up, and she grabs the elevator cords and starts climbing. She gets to the second floor; she makes her feet steady and swings to the elevator door trying to touch the open button. She doesn’t reach it; she tries again, misses it again, hits the wall and groans.
Laura then rolls her eyes and says, “Of course. Red Queen please open the second floor elevator door.”
The second floor opens showing the science level but the door is blocked by rubble, Laura keeps climbing, she gets to the third level, she gets on a small side edge.
She relaxes and says, “Red Queen open the third level elevator door.”
The door opens, Laura sees the business hall, Laura jumps, gets in the entrance way and grabs the side, she pulls herself inside and relaxes. Laura starts walking down the hall; she feels really hot so she takes off her blouse showing a black sports tank top, she then hears a growl, and she looks at a door, opens it and sees a man chewing on another man who is dead. Laura gasps, the guy looks at Laura, he growls and jumps on her. Laura tries to push him off, he’s too strong, he goes to bite her, she pushes him off, and she grabs a pole and hits him again and again in the head until he doesn’t move.
She takes her breath and says, “Great. Now I'm a killer.”
Laura hears a noise, she goes down the hall, she keeps the pole ready, she turns the corner fast, swings and sees the black bald man from the train in swat wear and he caught it.
Laura says, “Sorry. I didn’t mean to try and hit you…well I did but…Something weird is going on.”
“We know,” says the man.
“Wait...aren't you two from the train?” asked Laura.
“We're Special Ops, we were sent here to gather data but something's happened,” said the man.
“Yeah, who are you again?” asked Laura, casually.
“Captain Dublin, Agent Green, Agent Johnson and Winters,” said Dublin.
Laura nodded and said, “Fine. Whatever. I need to go and find survivors and then get out of here.”
Laura left, she decided to try and find Sarah Jameson, head of the business area, she needs to get the leaders which was herself, a woman in medical, a security guard and a man in science. Laura decided to go to Sarah's office and see if there were any survivors.

The offices were dark but there was sign of life, papers everywhere, lights flickering, chairs pushed over. Laura watched her back, she had the pipe grabbed tight and was ready if anyone attacked. She goes over to a bigger office, behind the glass, she looked behind her and went to a phone. It was dead.
“Great,” Laura said.
Laura then heard a noise, she grabbed the pipe and held it up like a bat. She went outside, careful of who was here, she looked and saw nothing. Just then she heard a woman's voice moan.
“Hello?” asked Laura.
She turned around and jumped. In front of her was Sarah Jameson, she looked pale and her eyes were unfocused. She also had a small scratch on her hand and arm.
“Sarah, its me, Laura,” said Laura, “Are you ok? Let me look at your scratch.”
Laura stepped closer, Sarah growled and grabbed her, baring white teeth and bleeding gums. Laura fell to the ground, her pipe rolled away, Sarah snapped at her and Laura was trying to push her off. Suddenly Sarah was shot in the head, she went flying and hit the glass wall. Laura sat up and looked at the agents. Laura stood up and was protected by the agents.
“Are you alright?” asked Damien.
Laura nodded, “What happened to her?”
“She's been infected,” said Damien.
“Infected?” asked Laura.
Just then growls started, Laura turned around and saw people coming in, they had scars, flesh ripped off and they have legs broken but still walking while dragging their feet.
“Uh...guys,” said Laura.
Everyone looked and held their guns up. Laura went behind them, she went over to the carpet and started feeling for an edge.
“Shoot them in the head,” says Damien.
One zombie pushes a blonde haired soldier, Laura looks over her shoulder, Amy throws a knife and hits him in the head. Laura looked back and grabbed an edge. She heard gunfire and yells. She opened something to a sewer, she stood up and saw two other soldiers being eaten alive.
“Come on I have an exit,” Laura says.
Damien, Amy and the last soldier come over. Damien goes first, Amy, Laura and the unnamed soldier last. They close the trap door and go down the ladder into the sewers.
