Meredith Gentry or Anita Blake -- who has more issues?

Anita blake has way more problems. Meredith is not really one of my favorite characters.

I agree, but I read both series. They both have their good and bad points.

I read both series too - but Meredith seriously annoys me. Just her thought pattern, and how she thinks just super makes me want to die. I honestly think that the Anita Blake series is way better.

I agree. I'm reading the latest Merdith Gentry, but I can't wait for the nex Anita Blake to come out, I think it's in June.

I love the Anita Blake series. Her character is so amazing. Idk, I think she belongs with Edward :P

I have a feeling that they are just too strong willed for a romantic relationship to work, just look at the disaster of a relationship between Anita and Richard. I mean Mich has a strong will but it works between him and Anita.

I definitely think Meredith has more problems than Anita. I mean her mother practically loathes her, her father was murdered, her aunt tried to drown her, her cousin tried to rape and kill her, and then she has no choice but to have sex with a bunch of guys she barely knows and some of which she used to fear so she can get pregnant and become queen.

You do have a point, and in the beginning of the latest book, her life just seems to be getting worse and worse.

But she knows most of them, and she loves a few of them. I just don't like Meredith. I don't like her character. Not to fond of it... Anita Blake is way better....

Well she doesn't come to love them until later in the story. I like Anita Blake better too but if it's a question of issues Meredith has way more.
