Ummm your 'having no limits on time' would work out great...
....except for the fact that vampires aren't immortal, except for maybe vampyres, but that's not proven.
(P.S. Lifespan=about 1 trillion years. Sorry to burst your bubbles, but I've studied our DNA, and one of the oldest vampyres ever, perhaps one of the very first, told a friend of mine (Anthro demon) "No one and nothing can exist forever. Such is merely the delusion of the hungry."
Vampires, in truth, are just humans who have a disorder/gene mess up where they have abnormally sharp teeth that humans lost a long time ago but still have traces of, a lust for blood and fresh meat, and live longer, not saying a long while longer, but longer than humans. Often times this is caused by the injection of a rare but serious poison that tells the cells and genes/DNA in the body to change rapidly, causing the old teeth to fall out and new, sharper ones to form and grow in, filled with this same poison that told the body to make it, also changing the state of mind to food to bloodlust, AKA fresh meat, and it also extends the lifeperoid of a vampire by telling the cells to reproduce when they get old. Also, the reason vampires are faster and/or stronger is because humans naturally don't use all the cells in their muscles to move or lift things, but because of the gene/DNA mix-up, the cells are told to use much much more, usually 20-50% more than a normal human, causing for the leg muscles to be able to move faster, and other muscles to move faster and lift more. Their skin is usually pale because of another gene/DNA mix-up.
So, vampires are only a different species of human, like the mouse bat and the vampire bat are two different species of bat, one more equip for living, vampire bat, and one with less useful qualities, the mouse bat.
The difference between a vampire and a vampyre is the age - vampyres are the older vampires, like cavemen to humans, only vampyres tend to be smarter.
Vampyres have the features of a wild animal more than a vampire, although they can blend in scociety just as well. Better eyesight, being able to use more of their muscles and/or reproduce them faster, lighter, hollow bones, and even some with wings if they get changed from a poison line from far, far back.
Vampires are more modern, like the husky to a wolf. They resemble a vampyre so much it can be hard to tell, and sometimes you even need to ask. Their senses are tuned down a bit more, their bones heavier, muscles a little weaker, etc.
And that, my dear friend, is how you seperate the real vampyres and vampires *CoughsMeCoughs* from the posers and wannabes.
Any oppositions that I can shoot down with facts from posers?
So, you truly studied the dna of vampires. I mean no offense at asking this but I'm assuming you have done this in secret. If not, my apologies. Could you pm me I would love to discuss this in more detail with you. I am fascinated by the genetic differences that would show between the supernatural race and humans.
Exactly my thoughts. Bring a vampire is a way where we can see the world differently and we are very hard to defeat, whenever we changed from our human selves. But I am part Wiccan so I can also make vampire love potions and et.c. But yeah the mortals do not exept us and think we are malicious terrorizers!! It can be quite lonely too, but it does have many good sides.

I'm part Wiccan too. Its apart of my family heritage. I love casting spells and sniffing the insence. Nothing sounds better to me. My mother for some reason..... it skipped her generation because her and her brother were born humans with "special powers" like an average physic. My grandmother also was a normal human. So my great-grandmother taught me everything she knew, it was fun for me until she died. I was happy at how long she lived though, and that she got to share her wisdom with me. ^_^

My opinion on being a Vampyre it simple. That its just another way of life. I am very motivated in finding my soulmate, human or Vampyre. My life only gives me more time to find him. I talk to humans and they say that Vampyres are monsters because they don't know I am one. I always ask them "if its okay to eat the meat off an animal, why isn't it okay to take the blood" and they never have an answer. What we do is not a crime, and I'm proud to be what I am.
