What kind of faerie is a dragon-taming sylph?

I am quite sure she's not human, but I don't think she's a regular faerie either. She's very spastic and kind of crazy around friends, but really shy with others. I am thinking she may be a sylph who tames dragons, but I don't know a name for this kind of faerie. Anyone know?
