As a child

I would dream

of a knight in shining armor

to come rescue me.

And through all the pain

he did not come.

I was fooled years ago

and thought he was the one.

The one to protect me,

to love me unconditionally.

But, he only brought me pain.

He was not my knight,

but a monster in disguise.

And hard as I prayed,

no one could love me,

My heart was never the same.

I vowed not to love again,

until I met you.

My childhood flashed before me,

and I remembered the fairy tales,

I had tryed to forget.

I didn't feel sorrow,

yet couldn't help but cry.

The impossible was possible again;

My knight in shining armor

was standing before my eyes.

They tell her not to cry.

"It's no big deal."

She needs someone to show her love.

But, "it's no big deal."

She's tormented by her ex-lover,

stalked and treated like an animal.

"It's no big deal."

She dreams of death instead of life.

"It's no big deal."

She comforts herself in the dead of night with a razor blade.

"It's no big deal."

She tries to end her life.

"It's no big deal."

They look into the casket,

where her sleeping body lies.

"It's no big deal."

Hey, i absolutely lvoe this group. Everyone is a good writer and I hope yu all read my new story I Spy Blood. I really didn't knwo that I would actually write my own stories here. I would lvoe to write my stories now, but I have some guests coming over in 8 hours and Wednesday I'll continue. I'm starting chapter 2 soon. Love everyone on this site. Got bored, so decided to post another poem...hope I'm not spamming anything up =P

Roses are red


Roses are red.
Deep Red, like fresh blood.
Like my blood
The blood that remains,
Splattered across my chest.

Dark crimson skid marks,
Across the bare ivory expanse of my skin.


Roses are red.
As red as the blood of a virgin.
As red as age-old Bordeaux wine.
The wine that is spilt across the table,
The only remnant of Romeo and Juliet's last argument.

It drips from the edge of the table.
Pooling on the floor, like blood from a bullet wound.


Roses are red.
As red as my cheeks when you b****** your thumb across my lips.
As red as your jaw when I punched you.
My anger the physical manifestation of my pain,
The ravaged agony that swirls inside me.

It only had one exit, one path.
My fist, to your face.

Please

Please don't tell me I'm beautiful.
That you love me.
That you'll always be mine.
Don't smile and look at me like that, knowing it makes my insides melt.
I really wish you'd never glanced twice at me,
Never been so nice, so gentle, so sweet
Never listened when I needed a listener,
Never made me laugh when I wanted to cry.

Why did you have to be so amazing?
Why did you have to be nothing that I wanted,
But instead, everything I needed?
Why did you have to bring out the best in me?
Why did you tell me exactly what I yearned to hear,
Never meaning a single word...

Please.
Please don't apologise because you hurt me,
It just brings more tears.
Please don't agree to be my friend again.
Please, love.
Please don't do what's best for us both.
Please don't cut off what we had.

Please.
Don't love me the way I need to be loved,
Please just love me,
The way I want to be loved.

Tried My Best
I tried my best to make u happy. As always you left me. My heart is black and empty with no one to fill and I need youir arms to envelope me. I sit on the floor waiting for you to return but you never do. I tried my best to make you laugh but you end up angry. Please let me know what to do to make your heart beat once again
