vampire fairy twilight goth emo punk sk8er meeting place

This is an extension of a story I actually wrote for school. I am going to write the first half down, just so that anyone who reads and likes it is stuck in suspense until they tell me to write the next bit. If no-one likes it, I wont bother writing the rest. Win-win situation.

He shouldnt be here. Just past 11 at night is not the time to be outside. Not the time to be outside, in the middle of winter, in the dark. Not the time to be standing outside 12 Eastwood court. Raven Mansion, the haunted house.

New kid on the block. That was Chris. And the only kid, besides David Green. It was wierd. Most of the houses on the road where empty. David lived with his older brother. Chris couldnt remember his name. Never even seen him.

There used to be other kids, according to David. 10 years old and still a bit round, David had told him everything about the area. There used to be more kids, but they where curious. That's what David had said. They had been too curious. David had told them to leave it alone, he said, but they wouldnt listen. Too curious. He had told them it was evil, but they wanted to see for themselves.

Raven Mansion.

And now they where gone.

There is. I just wanted to know if other people wanted me to put more in. So here you go.

Gone? Chris pushed the thought from his head. How could they have just gone? They parents would have done something. The parents... did do something. They moved away. That's why there where so many empty houses. But why had the kids disappeared?

Curiousity.

They wanted to know what was in that house. And Chris wanted to know what they had found. Why they had vanished.

So he had got up at 11, late enough that everyone else was asleep. He clambered out his window, snuck down the street and climbed the tree next to the mansion, thought it was no more than a tangle of blacken branches. He sat there, peering into the house through the window, wishing that someone else was there with him. But David was too scared. Not curious at all. Just wanted to leave it alone. But Chris had to know.

He could see very little through the window. A bit of old furniture here and there. Some older portraits on the walls. A glow of light, somewhere deeper in the house. After debating a little, he climbed back down the tree, desiding to use the front door. Why not? It would be quicker anyway.

A slight push and the door moved, swung sliently in, just enough for Chris to get in. The room was big, smelled of mould and dust. Must have been some kind of main hall or entrance. But the light was further in, just behind the the doors under the staircase. Chris took a big breath, then step forward and grasped the metal of the door handle. A quick twist and he pulled the door open.

HA ha. More suspense. Sorry Lisa, but you'll have to wait a bit longer. Man, I can be annoying some times, but I would like other people to comment first, sorry.

LOL!
It's not as good as some s I read on here, and it's not as good as some of my other stuff, but I still think its pretty cool.

And dont worry, it will only go for one more segment.

Why only one more? And I had an idea that you could make it into an rpg.

Well, it's the sort of thing that has a sudden ending. It was only ever supposed to be a short story.

Ok, I was just waiting for someone else to ask. Here you go.

Chris gasped. He stepped into a large ball room, staring around. There were big, glass tubes, lined up. A low mist floated over the ground. He walked down each corridor, made by the glass pilars. He stopped at one. These where what were making that wierd glow, but they were frosted over. Quickly grabbing the sleeve of his jumper, he rubbed down the front of the tube.

No way. It cant be. He moved to the next tube, wipping off the frost. Then he moved to next one. Then the next one. Each one had a kid in it. Their faces were twisted with fear, like they had seen something out of a horror book, just before they were frozen.

*Clap clap clap* The sudden sound echoed through the room, making Chris jump. 'You know, I thought it would take you at least another week to till you got in here.' The voice was so familiar, but it couldnt be. Once again, there was no way it could be real. But it was.
David walked around the corner, a sickening grin across his face. "David?" Chris asked, his breath catching. "What are you talking about?"
"Well, I would tell you, but freezing your body takes hours, and theres another kid coming tommorow. I cant have any chance of you warning her, so I'm afraid you wont find out. But then, that wont effect you now."
"It was you? You're what caused all those kids to disappear?"
"Yes, yes, but we dont have time to discuss that. Now if you would kindly hold still."

The terriffied screams rang across the street. But no-one woke, and the screams soon stopped.
