Home

i open the door,
crash landing on the floor,
so many things i saw,
my heart feels raw,
my head is spinning,
my ears are ringing,
tell me,
whats wrong with me,
i'd thought i'd forgotten this years ago,
i thought you had left,
the images are coming slow,
my common sense is all i have left,
many years ago,
was it years? months? days? hours?
once it was all about "our",
your hand entwined with hers,
your lips upon her face,
your arm around her waist,
i can't help but run from this place,
my heart bleeds inside,
my soul begins to cry,
my mind screams "why!"
how am i to feel?!
what am I to think?!
my eyes don't believe this is real!
i can hardly blink!
run away from here,
and scream,
your voice is so near,
your lovely beams,
i miss your touch,
your embrace,
your love is rough,
i kiss your face,
you pull away,
with nothing at all to say,
what am i supposed to do with our...this house?
what am i supposed to do with all the memories?
i need another spouse,
a pure-love remedy,
frozen fire,
a never said liar,
burn! burn!
and your fort crumbles,
have you learned?
i can tumble,
i can play with fire,
i have no home,
i'm your every desire,
i'm alone...
