Poetry....Another Poem I Wrote, Innocent child.
In the dark of night, where the clouds hung desperately over the forbidden moon she stood listening to the sound of her thoughts. The cool air lingered as she sung to herself, entranced by the wisdom of her words. The fear of no longer being able to be free didn’t faze her. Her power of peace and prosperity overcame her fear. God had her wings firmly placed upon her back as she looked at the faces of her family she wished them no harm. Her eyes looking upon every memory that lay in her family’s souls. She showed that hate wasn’t all there was to this earth. She understood that now, even if it was to late. Her bare feet feeling the cold of the wood beneath her she new that she was innocent. God even said so. The weight of her body suddenly feeling like air she looked upon many crying faces. There she saw him tall, dark and staring. She new it was him that caused this fate upon her, yet somehow she did not hate him. Instead she pitied him and his ruthless harm he caused himself and others, especially her. She listened to his words that were said by God. She watched him, as his eyes never meet hers. She knew that he had the truth in his hands, God was screaming at him to look at this girl, this pure angel and tell her it was ok, it was all a mistake. He just couldn’t seem to tear himself away from the words of that Holy Bible; he couldn’t face the fact that he may have made a mistake. Yet she wasn’t mad at him either, she new it had to be fate that had sent her to this rope. As the cross hung like feathers around her neck so did the rope. As she looked God in the eye she thought she could see her own reflection, suddenly she new it wasn’t her that was crying it was God. He had many children, but this young girl didn’t deserve what she was about to get, but what he saw in her eyes was not fear nor anger, he saw peace that’s when God new that she had accepted her fate. As God returned to heaven were he would await her he blew her a kiss that shook the world and its people. He wanted to show them that no one deserved a fate that wasn’t meant for them. Fate was fate though and he let it take its course. She and her family new she would see them again in heaven. In the dark of the night, as the wind whistled to her song and clouds gave way so the moon shone upon her face she said her goodbyes and let that man make her take that fall of fate. As she hung there, her body lifeless and no longer singing yet her peace and hope never left her young, maybe to young eyes.
