GABRIELS POEMS

My life was once tolerable
Some what enjoyable
With the one I love at my side
Our hearts forever each others

But it could never last
Our secret got out
The world out of control with rage
And then, she was gone

smile poem

Smile
A smile is a rare thing to see
Defined as an act of happiness
The only thing that I don’t have
A smile forms when people are in love
Or even when they are angry
I have no happiness and no love
I have only these blades
These blades are my salvation
My only way out
The only thing that makes me smile

The feed on fear and leave us trebling
A cold pale hand touches our face
We yell into the night at them
Giving them a new flavor to ingest
They drink the tears of children
Then watch as we cower in the corner
None have fought
Then watch as we cower in the corner
None have fought
