a small child
she looks out into the forest,
while he gives her a gentle caress,
she wonders if she'll ever leave this place,
he grabs her small face,
he forbids her to even think about leaving,
her tears fall upon his gentle embrace,
he walks away,
she never knows what to say,
sitting by her tree,
she wonders "why me?"
a captive,
a angel,
she reads "the tell-tale heart"
he grabs the book and tears it apart,
he picks her up and drags her inside,
as her anger and sadness collide,
and he kisses her,
she tries to push him,
but he wants to commit a sin,
and so she remains,
in vain,
in wonderland.

I was able to force myself to sit up. I unwrapped the gauze on my wrist. All I saw was two circular, piercing, and deep wounds. I gasped once I saw it. Then a flashback crossed my eyes and thoughts. Something or someone bit me last night. My arm went limp as I stared into space, thinking, trying to remember something more useful. But nothing came up. So I wrapped my wrist back up with the gauze. I wasn’t curious about why my neck was bandaged anymore and I didn’t want to look at my knees… Continue
