"No" I commanded, and Crisis stalked back to my side unable to disobey, I knew what was coming next...
"I need to, I have to, I’m so thirsty, and I think I’m going to die!" Crisis growled in a low voice at me.
"Crisis, do you really think I would let you do this?" I hissed a response, "You know you can’t die, seeing as you are already dead."
As soon as I said those words I regretted it. "Here we go again,” I thought to myself as I waited for her to responded.
"We are LIVING dead," emphasised on the word 'living', Crisis paused hoping to let the word sink in, and waited for me to shudder routinely.
"Not completely dead," she continued "so there is always a possibility we could stop moving and...”
"...And stop thinking altogether." I finished her speech in a mocking tone. Crisis smiled at me with her evil grin.
"Exactly, so therefore I conclude that I could die."
I rolled my golden eyes in response.
"Look my bat of a brother, it might be easy for your blinded sense on taste to ignore such urges," Crisis hissed, whilst digging her clawed finger into my chest,
"But for me, that house, right there with the blue door is where my nose is telling me to go."
I closed my eyes and breathed deeply, I then tilted my head at the slightest angle to hear better. I waited a few seconds after I was completely sure, just to annoy Crisis; my eyes snapped open to glare at her.
"No" I repeated and stalked off the opposite direction of the blue door, knowing Crisis had to follow.
"Chay!" Crisis complained in her whiniest voice, knowing it would piss me off. I stopped myself before I could give her what she wanted - my reaction - I silently but sharply calmed myself, and tried to mirror her annoying voice as my own.
"Yes?" I returned, refusing to turn around and face her.
"Chaos," she complained, "slow down! You know perfectly well that I tire easily after five days not drinking. What has it been now? A week?" she wondered to herself. I slowed my pace a little hoping that my calculations of distance were correct and that we were at least a mile a way from the house with the blue door.
As soon as Crisis caught up with me, the usual question was asked.
"Why not Chaos?"
"Because my snake of a sister, Mother and Father would be very disappointed and would not think much of me if they knew their son had let his younger sister drink from a mayor of a town, which would then lead to questions, and you know how Mother feels about questions." I lectured.
"Fine!" Crisis grumbled "But brother, I am telling you. I have to drink, I’ve never gone without it for more than twelve days."
"Yes sister I understand, we will feed once we find one that is… almost invisible."
Crisis growled in impatience, whilst trying to break my strength with her eyes locked on mine. I blinked and shook me head in the space of a heartbeat; I broke her trance she had on me, which tempered her further.
I chuckled quietly to myself at her anger, as she started to pace back and forth, most likely thinking of a plan to drink as quickly as possible. For that moment I got a chance to loot at my surroundings for the first time. We were in a rough area, with council houses either side of the street. I froze solid; Crisis stopped pacing suddenly and shot me a look.
I heard them before I smelt them, it was a gang of teenage lads, and “oh Crisis would love this.” I thought to myself. The boys were talking about things I disapproved of most in human male culture; I waited and anticipated Crisis’ to respond. I knew when Crisis could smell them. Her eyes went wild.
Then it hit me, their scent so good after such a long time, I couldn't resist. Crisis could tell from the expression on my face that there were no rules now. She took her chance and was out of sight before I could recover, then I chased after her. I caught up with her before we reached the rowdy group, and made Crisis stop running before she charged into them.
"Only one Crisis!" I hissed at her, and she winked at me. "I mean it!" I commanded.
"Fine. Spoil sport!"
I slowed myself to human speed, and Crisis copied as we closed in on the boys.

this is the next part ive written so far. enjoy x

We walked in sync as we closed in on our prey; our steps matched the heartbeat of one of our victims, I was too focused to distract myself in finding out which one it was. We stayed close to the shadows waiting to attack, as we closed in on the defenceless group I could see the sweat trickle down one of their faces, and fear creep into their expression. I subtlety signalled to crisis to hold back as I whipped round the back of the gang, we then cornered them against the wall. As the space between us, and them closed more and more, one of them fainted from panic, and as the others looked at him it took less than a split second for Crisis and I to knock the others out.
