Ch.2 First time for everything

It is the week befor spring break, I don't have anything planned, because well because i have no friends. The whole week everyone was talking about the new girl, Jordan, i think. Also what they will be doing over spring break.
Wednesday the samething. Thursday nothing special. On friday while i was at lunch, for the first time someone sat at my lunch table.
"Hi." I heard a girl say sheepishly as she sat down.
"Hi." i said without looking up.
"So i'm Jordan. Whats your name?" She asked holding out her hand.
I hesitated then slowly reach out and shook her hand. "Cody." I looked at her face and noitice she was realy pretty, with brown soft eyes.
I looked over her shoulder and saw people starring and saying things like. "How much did he pay her?" and "why is she sitting with him.?"
"So why don't you eat lunch?" she asked.
"I'm not really that hungry." I lied. " so why are you sitting here?"
"No reason. I just felt like it. Why? Do you want me to leave?"
"No." i said. " I like the company. No one ever sits with me let alone talk to me."
"I noticed that." She said. "I wonder why?"
"Maybe the way i dress. Or other reasons." I awnsered. "You know they are all starring at you."
"So what I don't care what they think." she snapped.
"Ok. But no one probaly will not talk to you." I said.
"I know four that will." she pointed to four others heading this way.
I knew their names. Frankie, Justin, Emily, and Jena. When they saw she was sitiing with me they stopped. I heard them whispered to each other.
"She's just being nice, I don't think she'll sit with him again."
"I don't think they like that you are sitting with me." I stated.
Jordan got up and went over to them. "What's taking you guys? What you don't like Cody?"
"Is that his name." Jena said sarcastically.
I couldn't handle anymore easdropping. So I headed for the exit. Before i got out the door i hear frankie say
"Now we'll sit."
"Thats messed up, what did he ever do to you guys." Jordan say
I didn't hear anymore i was out the door sitting on a bench under a tree. Right outside the lunchroom. I sat there with my head on my arms thinking.
"Cody i'm sorry about them. You okay?
"Not really." I said looking up. That's when i figured out i was crying. I wiped the tears away.
She gave me hug and I hugged her back.
"Thanks." i said.
"No problem." She said smilling. "So what are you doing over spring break?" She asked.
"Nothing. How about you?"
"Same." She said. " How about you come over to my house on monday and hang out with me?" She asked with hope in her voice and eyes.
"Sure." I smiled
"Hold out your arm." She said.
I did and she wrote her address on it.
"See ya Monday." She said giving me a hug and going back to the lunchroom.
I decide it was time for me to go home. So I walked till i was out of sight of anybody and started Flitting home. when i got home i saw a not on the T.V.
It read:

Dear Cody me and George went hunting and on our 50th honeymoon in paris.
See you in a week or two.
P.S Don't do anything stuipid.

I went upstairs got a towel and a change of clothes, and took a shower. I put on my boxers and pants and went downstairs and laid on the couch watching T.V.
