Chapter 9

I hit the floor with a thud. Yet i'm still laughing with pain in my shoulder. "I think you serously have some problems! Jacup tells me. I gaze at him smiling. Nodding my head I try to get off the floor. Failing I lay on the floor. "Can you please help me up?" I ask him. "No i'm just going to leave you there on the floor." he say sarcasticly. Jacup gets off the couch and hold out a hand for me. I grab the hand and slowly get off the floor.

I get upp and walk to the kitchen and start to put away groceries. Suddenly I feel a pair of arms wrap around my waist pulling me back into the person. I gasped, realizing that it was jacup, I tickled him. He lets go and turns me around. "You were lucky. I say to him. "Oh yea?" he replies. "Yea. Because what I could of done would have been worse that what I did to you the first time we met." I smirk at him.

Jaup slowly lets go of my waist. He walks over to the door and yells to me. "MIka? I need to go get my brothers, they could be in trouble..." "Just go and bring them here. ok?" I say interupting him. He nods. Jacup comes up and quickly kisses my cheek. "thank you.." He whispers in my ear. And then he's gone.

I finished what I was doing. I look around wondering "Why would this happen to me. First my own brother kills my suppossbly mom. Then he tries to attack me in revenage for something I had no clue about." Suddenly I get a idea. "what if i look through the attic for some history about me and my family. Then maybe i would understand why all this is happpening to me." i mutter to myself

While waiting I start to clean the house. I figured since Jacup, Scott, and Jake were staying I might as well prepare for the boys stay. I worked all around. I sat down finished and made a list of what i accomplished today. Time flys by sitting on a couch and reading. One minute it was 3:00 in the afternoon then what seemed like five minutes it was 6:00 into the evening."How can anyone stand to do nothing all day?" i said aloud hoping Jacup would come threw the door.

Minutes seemed like hours and hours seemed like minutes. It was about 7:00pm when i heard the door bell ring. I rush to the door (It was more like skipping) opened it to find a package on the door step. I look around to see if anyone was watching. Nothing, sighing i went inside. I examine the package and read on the top "To my daughter" and on the bottom it said "From your parents."

I quickly opened the package to find a tiny box with a letter on the top. The letter read "Dear Mika, I know we had not met yet, but today is your birthday and today is the day you get to meet us. Love you lots! mom and dad." "Mom and Dad? Huh for 17 years they didn't want to be a part of my life. Now they do want to be a part of my life suddenly. Thats not going to work. For years i asked my suppose mom this "How come i don't look you or dad?" The answer i got was a shrug. From then on i've ignored them until they got murder by my brother. I'm so confused it's not funny.

Suddenly i heard the door open. Quickly i drew out my knife which i kept hidden from everyone so they wouldn't think i was a murder. Dropping the letter i turn around quickly only to see Scott and Jake. I had a feeling someone was behind me. "Jacup!!! Don't you ever knock before coming in!!!!!" i yelled at him keeping my relief that he was safe hidden. "Relax!!!....MIka?" Jacup says looking into my eyes. I lost control of myself not knowing what would happen to the rest of them. "How could you!!!.... How could you leave me here by myself, knowing that my brother is trying to kill me..." I yelled at him with tears just streaming down my cheeks. Jacup mention the guys to shut the door and take a seat. He turns to me and looks at me with pity. I look away from him collapsing on my knees sobbing. Hegoes to his knees, takes hold of me and lets me cry, while beating his chest with my fists. "Why?... why did i have to fall in love with a vampire. I can't do anything while my douche bag brother is murdering innocent people. I can't take this anymore!!!" Jacup picks me up suddenly and takes me to my room.
