rope tree burns

Hold me still my guardian and friend,
Tie me still when i reach my end.
Attach to me this Oak, strong of age,
Use this rope, the thickness entwined against my rage.
Help me stave off my uncordinated hunger,
Protect those from my follies in youngster.
Repress me until i am broke,
Hunt for me and don't provoke.
Give me what i need, no more no less,
Teach me to learn what i need to progress.
I thank you for helping me, whether humiliated or not,
Your kindness to me i have not forgot.
Yes i'm a fledgling with much to learn,
And that you're my guard whilst i turn.
But remember this at least my friend,
When i rise the rank and do as you do i sha'nt bend.
Your lessons i'll teach, despite the burn,
My wrists are marked but they made me learn.
Don't wait till it's too late to know,
That feeding is something that shouldn't grow.
I know now it is something that should be small,
The wrist for my rope tree burns will remind me to all.

written for my Guardian of house when they take me out to feed. they started it all by tying me to a tree.
