The Last Fairy on Earth

It was a dark night in Knightdale, my parents are lying in bed. I was tossing and turning, t couldn’t go to
sleep. So I went to get a cup of water. The stairs were creaking. Then all of a sudden thunder crashed. It
almost broke the window. I was at the library when I saw a figure. It attacked me, but when I held up my
hands for protection and a shield came up and the creature disappeared. I was frozen, I couldn’t get the
creature out of my head……..
It was Monday morning at my friend Robert was late. That was unusual. I have forgotten what happened on Saturday. “Hey Darcy!” my friend Stacy, she was one grade higher than me. “Hey” I said. “How was your weekend? Fine. You better get to class before Ms. Rachel yells at you.” I liked Ms. Rachel, she is the best. I sit next to john in class, I hate him. “Take your seats class.” Said Ms. Rachel. “Hey Darcy, what's one plus one! Bug off John.” The whole class started to laugh. My fists started to catch on fire. “Quiet. Darcy can I see you after class.” Ms. Rachel sounded nervous. Class went by fast. Finally at the end Ms. Rachel dismissed the class all except me.
“I noticed your hands Darcy.” Here it comes. “Do you know what that means? No.” I was shaking. “You are a fairy.
What?” I was a magical being. “But, there’s something else, the Vampire Knight is looking for you.” Here it comes, the vomit. “I used to be a student fairy myself, but I’m not from Earth. I’m from Domino. You are the last fairy on Earth.” What was I suppose to do, I’m just a girl. “What am I going to do?” trying not to sound nervous. “You come and talk to me when you transform, but it will take time.”

At lunch I found Robert. “Hey Rob I need to talk to you.” Wow I sounded nervous. “I’m the last fairy on Earth. Ha, don’t play games with me I don’t believe in magic.” That was mean of him. After school I was going home when I saw a house. I’m sure that house wasn’t there before. I went in to investigate. The door was open so you could get in easily. It was dark and silent. It was dusty. You couldn’t see a thing. There were shattered windows everywhere. There was a scream. A dark scream. An evil scream. It came from upstairs. The stairs were creaking. The silence was now gone. Then I heard it again, but this time it was louder. “Ahhhhhhhh!” Relax I thought, it’s only a terrifying scream. Then I saw it. It had fangs, bloody hands, and a very evil grin. “Hello Darcy.” I was too scared to answer. But I got it out of me. “What do you want? I need your power to rule the world.” I looked at him closely, it looked like Rob. No it can’t be. I was so mad. I started to catch on fire. How did I do that, I thought. I started to run to my safe home.

My sister walked in the door “Hey Darcy. Hey Kelly.” I was cooking when she came in. “Mom’s going to be late
today. As usual.” She sat down looking at me. “You seem scared, what happened? Nothing. Come on tell me. Alright, but you won’t believe me. Today I found out I am the last fairy on Earth.” I knew so won’t believe me, but instead she said “Prove it.” I concentrated. Harder and harder. Finally, I transformed into a beautiful fairy. I had wings as beautiful as a butterfly. I had a costume with flowers in blue, purple, and white. I had purple boots. My hair was in braids and I was wearing a crown. “You look beautiful!” my sister seemed happy. “It’s dangerous though, a vampire is looking for me to take my power.” I started to cry. “It looked like Rob! What, you met him.” She looked worried now. “There was a house, that wasn’t there before, I went in and saw him.” She told me to stay away from the house.

The next day the house wasn’t there, instead there was wood and pieces of the house. “Stacy, what’s up! Nothing, guess what, we are in charge of the dance!” I didn’t want to be in charge of the dance but I couldn’t break Stacy’s heart. “I’ll help you.” She was happy. Class took forever. Ms. Rachel, I transformed!” I actually did it. When she told me to transform I did. “Wow, you’re so beautiful.” She sounded great. But when I told her about the house she told me to go there again, but in the library. “Hey Rob! Hey.” He sounded sick. “What’s wrong? Nothing, just flu.” It seemed more than a flu. “Darcy, come sit with us.” It was Stacy. “What’s up? We’re talking about the dance.” The rest of the day went by fast.

After school, I went to the house and it was there. “That is not normal.” I was very confused. Just to be safe I
transformed. I entered the house, but it seemed different. The picture of the owner was in the west wing, not the east. I lit a candle with my fire. I finally found the library. It was clean not like the other rooms. I looked around. Then I heard something calling my name. “Darcy, Darcy, Darcy.” It was warm, not like Him. I turned around and saw a woman with long blond hair. She had an old-fashioned dress on. At that moment I found out it was my great-great-great-great grandmother. “Darcy, you are in danger. Who are you? I am the queen of Earth, I died long ago when the Vampire Knight killed me, and now he is after you.” I was proud that my great-great-great-great grandma was the queen of Earth. “What am I suppose to do? Find the Magical Stars. It will be a challenge Darcy, But I know you can do it.” I heard of the Magical Stars in a fairytale. “They are in another planet, you will get stronger and will be able to defeat Him.” I started to cry. “Good luck, my child.” She was gone. Then I heard it. The scream. This time it was more terrifying. I ran out the house before anything else happened.
I was glad to be home.“How was school, hon.” My mom sounded cheerful. “Great, mom can I talk to you.” I think I scared her. “What’s wrong, hon. I found out I am the last fairy on Earth and a vampire needs my power. To defeat him I need to find the Magic stars.” My mom started to cry. “I didn’t realize this day would come. What do you mean? My mom told me one of our family members would destroy the Vampire Knight.” I
started to cry . “then you must Defeat Him. Really? Ya.” We started to laugh “now let’s go taste that pasta
you made.”
As I went to school the house was still up. Oh well I thought. “Darcy, Darcy, wait up.” It was Stacy with some other kids I haven’t met. “Ms. Rachel told us you are a fairy, and the truth is we are fairies, too.” At the moment I didn’t believe her.”But I was the last fairy on Earth. You are, but we’re from different planets. We’re going to help you defeat the V.K.” I told her to meet me after school. In Ms. Rachel’s class I was bored. After class I told Ms. Rachel what the ghost and my mom said about the mission. “I’ll train you at lunch time if that is okay with you. Great with me.”

During lunch we just practiced shooting and defending. “Darcy, you have managed to get the highest level of magic. So you have strong powers.” I was scared to go on the mission.After school Stacy and the rest came over. She introduced me to the rest. “This is Layla from Animalia, Ivy from Plantination, Eva from Cosmo, Meri from Floral, and I’m from Hexinta.” That was a lot to remember. We all transformed
and practiced our skills.

I saw the ghost of my great-great-great-great grandma in my dreams. “Darcy I will be with you during your mission.”
Then she disappeared. In the morning I told my mom I was going out with Stacy. I was wondering why Rob wasn’t going to school. We met at the old house. “This house is scary” Stacy seemed nervous. We transformed in the house so no one saw us. It was darker than ever. But the house changed again. The chimney was now in the guest room not the living room. Then we heard it, a scream, far more terrifying than the times I heard it. We saw blood and dead people on the floor. Then Rob came out from the kitchen. “Darcy so nice of you to join us.” I blasted him. But he didn’t give up. We tried conversions. He finally lay on the floor, defeated for now. We decided to go home and forget about the house.

On Monday, Ms. Rachel wanted to talk to us, “Girls you will not be attending class today. Instead you are going to
Rabzole. Here is the map. Find the Stars and come back with this spell.” It read Transportus back Homus. She said her spell and we were in Rabzole.
It was dark in Rabzole. We had to be careful. There were wild animals, and evil magic animals here. We transformed and were on our way. We were close to getting the stars when all of a sudden a wolf came out. It had blood on its teeth. We attacked and attacked and finally defeated it.
We reached the old castle. Ms. Rachel told us the stars would glow in the castle. It was dark and spooky. We decided to split up in two’s. Meri and I had to search the east wing. We saw lots of ghosts, goblins, and wolves. Imagine our luck, bleeding arms, scabs, wounds, and bruises. We defeated them at the end. “Hey Meri look at that wall, it’s glowing.” I called all the girls. We all attacked the will but it kept returning our attacks. At the very end we were wounded, we were bleeding, and were laying on the ground. I got up and gently used magic to turn the knob, it was invisible.” We got the stars! Transportus back homus.” We were at our safe homes.

“Ms. Rachel we found the stars.” We were still recovering from the wounds. “Good, now go to the house and kill Him.” I started to cry. “But, I can’t Rob is my best friend.” Stacy comforted me. “He tries to kill you Darcy, you have to do something.” I nodded. The house was different each time we entered. And I had a feeling someone was watching us. “Let’s go girls, we can do it.” We went upstairs, when we heard a scream. An evil, terrifying scream. “Hello Darcy.” We froze. “Rob I thought you where my friend. Friend, ha , I hated you.” I fired at him. “Won’t work on me.” he laughed. We fought and each time one of us would fall. I was the last one standing. My friends were bleeding, and bruised. “You’ve gone too far.” I used the Stars and all my power. With full energy , shot at him. “Take this knife and stab him.” It was my great-great-great-great grandma. I took the knife and killed him. We all lay on the floor.

We got up and went home. “Mom I did it, I killed the V.K!” My mom started crying “I knew you could do it.” My great-
great-great-great-great grandma appeared. “You did well.” Then she disappeared. Ms. Rachel was there. “Good job. “ I was too tired to go to school on Monday. But I went because I made new friends, faced my fears, and got a teacher for magic.
