I see your tears fall to the ground.
You stare ahead not making a sound.
What could be wrong, I ask in my head.
There’s nothing I could have done or said.
Looking at you, I lost my voice.
I wanted to comfort you, but had no choice.
I turn around and walk away,
Hoping to myself that you’ll be okay.
