Probably, lol. Though not all of wikipedia is BS - I mean, there are tonnes of proffessers, scientists and whatnot updating the site frequently. You just have to be vigilant about the truth. Cross-reference it with what you already know, or even check another website.
And, btw, I tried to create a page on wikipedia about a friend - it's much harder than you think!

I know what you mean about the title, but I think I prefer the German title over the latin - it makes it seem more romantic and mystical... To me, anyway. But it's probably both the latin and the german translations anyway... It just depends what you want to see ^_^

Eh well, I've always seen that it was Elfen Story.. it makes more sense than elfen song.. I mean if the diclonius actually sang and killed the victims. then it'd seem like it matched the title to me xD.

Oh well. lol... btw. I don't believe wikipedia.. I can go over there and put that the world is non-existant.. and it'd be on a term paper by in the morning :) LMAO.

Actually, the title Elfen Lied for the anime was taken from the German poem, similarly titled. It's on wikipedia (the poem, and the English translation) if you want to check it out ^_^
I love this song, and the Saint Version also used in the anime, sung by The Griffin Chorus.

Lmao, the series IS in Japanese.
But, the opening song is in Latin. The closing song is in Japanese... with some english words. :)

But This is my favorite song from that series. Such a great song.

Btw, little fact, Elfen Lied, is mistaken for German, which would translate into Elfen Song, but it really means "Elfen Story" Lied in latin is story ^^
