Misunderstanding.
This is free-verse poem, so do not expect it to carry a rhythm or rhyme.

It is all because of a misunderstanding
That my heart has been ripped out of my chest.
This simple misunderstanding,
That is causing quite a mess.
A friend thinks I like him,
As more than just a friend.
Though he doesn't like me like that.
I am just so sinsitive,
so a poem I am writing.
I am so emotional,
with the simplest of things.
Though he is not to blame,
Since I did make it seem,
That I did like him more than friends.
The way I acted,
The way I talked,
I have lead myself into a trap.
I mimicked him so,
And things in common we did have.
Though neither,
Like either,
Like that.

I hope he forgives me.
