- I hope you take the time to read my complete bio but, if you don't, let me just say that there is no truth to those sites that say they will create your 'Vampire Names'. If you are an immortal your name will stay the same. The websites that create 'Vampire Names' for you when you enter your own are completely bogus. I'll admit they are fun. They have a limited amount of names that are in their data banks and your new name is triggered by the combination of letters in your first and/or last names that you enter. I hope I haven't spoiled anyones fun but, like the Easter Bunny & Santa Claus, they are not real. If you truly are a Vampire, Lycan or whatever and want to conceal your true indentity, by the way coven laws say you should, just use a pseudonym. You should know that those who made you already know where you are and the rest of civilization doesn't believe in us anyway.
I'm beginning to think I am the only true Vampire on this site. I must admit I am a little disapointed, I did so want to reach out to others. If you do appear please do so in a message first before leaving a comment. Thank you and happy hunting.
Also, if you continue reading my bio you will learn that I was born in London, England in the year 1746 as a mortal. I was reborn an immortal in 1770 in Paris, France. Although I am a Convert and not a Pureblood I was turned by a Nysariah.
I am one of the most dreaded and feared creatures of the supernatural world. I can live forever, shape shift, travel under cover of night and seduce victims, drain them of blood and grow stronger. I am a male and can be beautifully human looking or horrific and monstrous.
Dating prior to the sixteen hundreds, some of the earliest New World accounts of my people were documented. The beliefs of vampires are different for each region of the world. The origin and details of vampires differ based on geography, but are similar in one fact: a vampire, such as me are undead creatures that drains the life out of the living.
In West Africa and other areas of Africa, blood is powerful and if a person sheds blood, it has to be cleansed or covered so an evil spirit can not taste of the blood and seek out the person to whom it belongs. Blood could enable the spirit to revitalize the body of the dead and destroy the body and soul of the living. Blood is also of great importance in Australia among the Aborigine. It is considered the best remedy for the sick, giving an ill person more life.
Accounts of vampires can be found in cultures across the world and across the centuries. The word vampire (vampir, vampyre) has its origins in Slavonic, but with similarities in Russian, Polish, Czech, Serbian, and Bulgarian. In addition, words for vampire are also found in the early Greek, Danish, Swedish and Hungarian languages.
The "creation" of a vampire, also differs with culture and beliefs. A human might become a vampire if they: practiced Black Magic, were of absolute evil, committed suicide, were a victim of a horrendous and violent death, were buried without proper rites, died excommunicated from their religion, were bitten by a vampire and lived or were bitten by a vampire and died. The latter of all of these are the only that are true. You can only become one of the undead if you are bitten, drained of your blood to the point of dieing then brought back to life by drinking from your sire (the one who made you). These origins of vampires however, have instilled fear in many; fear enough to produce loyalty to the church and abstinence from anything deemed evil. Theories from religious experts suggest that vampires and other creatures of death were creations meant to put fear into the hearts of the people and bring them to religion. This too is just a myth. The fact that vampires exist with similar traits across the seas and from the earliest of recorded history, suggest other theories to other experts.
One thing that remains constant within vampire lore is that a holy or consecrated object or strong faith in a Supreme and good being, will usually keep me away or at rest but, only if you truly have faith in the object. I actually like looking at crosses of all kinds.
It is true that I have razor sharp fangs and gorge on blood to sustain. It is also true that I sleep during daylight hours but only when the sun is at its highest in the sky. I actually like the twilight. There is evidence that vampires have existed well before the vampire bat was discovered. The vampire in literature developed features resembling these bats and was even able to transform into a bat and a wolf. Not true!
In Greece the practice of placing a consecrated object on the lips of the deceased is still in practice. Other cultures sew the mouth shut and sprinkle the lips with blessed water. The mouth is thought to be the way the soul leaves the body, and also the way it, or another evil spirit, can reenter. This is also untrue.
Vampires are great lead characters for stories, books and movies. Modern vampires have become more sensual and seductive and very alluring. Blood is known to be very powerful: it is the source of life and health and sexual passion. The sensations excited by the flow of blood are real and oftentimes intense with me. The image of a vampire embracing its victim, cradling the head and neck in strong hands while it gorges on the victim's blood can be an attractive scene in a movie or book. But a vampire that drinks blood is not the only vampire found in lore and literature. There is also some evidence of psychic or spiritual vampires who draw the life energy of their victims and sometimes, the very soul. If these species are real I’ll leave it to them to tell you about their history.
Before I was reborn into darkness I was married to a lovely young woman, Sarah. We had a son and named him after his father as I was named after mine and so on. Since being reborn, I have given into my natural urges and only prefer the sexual company of men, I am GAY. I only say this because I get hit on by women constantly and do not enjoy having to explain why I am only interested in being their friend. I do not like stereotypes of any kind so don't piss me off with any, OK?
I was born into royalty, wealth and privilege many years ago. To be precise, I was born in England in 1746. I have lived, risen and risen again and am continuing to make my immortal mark in life as well as in literature and culture.
There are those who view the vampire as pure myth, a figure to explain events without obvious explanations or to scare children and adults into being good and pious individuals. There are those who believe that the vampire exists in similar form to the lore and myths and that just because we have yet to actually see one, does not prove that we don't exist.
Believe me when I say, I do exist and might be looking for you even as you read this.
You may ask why I am being so public about myself and why I have even created this page? The answer is very simple. I want the world to know that we exist. You can ask me any question you like and I will answer but will give NO SPECIFIC details.

Because of the undersatnding I have with the authors I can not say the titles of these novels just as they can not say my name.
There was a so-called "fictional" book written about me in the late 1990's. You can find me in the title. Perhaps you've read it. If so, well let's just say you understand how close it is to the truth.
I was also 'Interviewed' by a famous female author while she was doing research for one of her most successful series of novels. You can find me in those pages as well.
